Great Retreat

We enjoyed our time at cozy farmhouse as we explored the local quilt shops and the St. Croix Pottery tour. It was comfortable to come back to the house after long days. We appreciated the complementary week passes to the LA fitness.

Very cozy and wonderful rental at a very reasonable price

Clean, quaint, perfect for a family, well stcked kitchen... they have a decent selection of spices for you. If there were condinents too would be the only improvement i can think of. This property was lovely. The other side of the duplex has a bit of a noise traveling. If your neighbors ard respectful it is not a problem. The tenants my first night were very rudely loud banging dishes and talking very loudly after hours. Call the rental owner and he will deal with itqith itwith it. Respect the quite time. duplex

The home was exactly as pictured

This rental was as good in person as it seemed on the pictures with the exception of one item and that was WiFi. The connection was so slow that it wasn’t helpful at all. The tv didn’t get any local channels so it left things like Netflix…but with no wifi, this wasn’t an option. So if you don’t need tv or wifi, this is a great rental otherwise it might be best to pick someplace else. Lovely cute home though!!

Cozy and clean

The property was easy to find and the check in instructions were very clear. We had no problem accessing the unit. We stayed for three nights. The beds were comfortable and clean. There is only one queen bed in each room, not two like the listing says. One bedroom did not have a door which made privacy a little difficult. I imagine it is because there is no room for the door to swing open and closed with the bed in the room. Maybe consider hanging a curtain to help provide privacy. The bathroom and kitchen were also clean and had everything we needed. The unit isn’t particularly high end, but the price reflects that and is fair. We didn’t take advantage of the guest passes to the fitness club during our stay, but they were provided on the fridge and we could have. The online listing indicates there is a pool and a sauna at the unit. I am guessing the host is referring to the facilities at the gym, because these amenities are not available at the unit itself. This unit is a duplex with an attached unit next door. The wall between seems very thin. During our stay we had a minor issue with the noise of the neighbors next door, but given the short duration of our stay we didn’t contact the host about it until after we checked out. Ricardo would have asked them to leave had he known, but maybe look elsewhere if you’re particularly sensitive to noise or traveling with a loud group. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay for a fair price given the quality of the unit.

Why they chose this property

I selected West St. Paul, MN for a couple of reasons. We have an affinity for the area due to its proximity to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. The neighborhood is excellent, known for its tranquility and peaceful atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

What makes this house truly distinctive is its construction in the early 1900s, marking it as one of the earliest residences in the area when the surrounding land was not yet developed.
