Welcome to Harley's River Retreat, a charming cabin in the Coosawattee River Resort with a soothing hot tub, a peaceful setting, and lots of amenities! Named after the owner's wonderful dog, Harley, this beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home has all you need for a relaxing and fun stay in North Georgia!

Spend days cozying up in front of the fireplaces, chatting around the firepit, soaking in the bubbling hot tub, and playing with your pup at this pet-friendly property! Set among the hardwoods of the North Georgia mountains, this cabin is serene, relaxing, and designed to help you unwind. The living room is the perfect place to hang out, with 2 comfortable sofas and an armchair in front of the large flatscreen TV and roaring stone fireplace.

The kitchen is a chef's dream, with solid-stone countertops, sparkling stainless steel appliances, and a solid wood dining table perfectly placed between the kitchen and living area. The main floor bedroom is outfitted with a king-size bed with wonderful bedding, a flatscreen TV, and an adjacent bathroom. Upstairs in the loft, you will find a second king-size bed with comfortable linens and a flatscreen TV. A second bathroom makes getting ready a breeze.

Very few places rival the special beauty and comfort that Harley's River Retreat provides. The spectacular wraparound covered porch with a free-standing stone fireplace is the perfect place to spend warm Georgia days and cool mountain nights. Of course, no mountain day is complete without the perfect, long soak in the hot tub.

The outdoor areas are rounded out with a large dining table on the deck, a dog run for your 4-legged friends, a picnic table by the water, and a wonderful firepit area by the stream - perfect for cooking up s'mores for dessert! If this isn't enough, you also have the Coosawattee River a short distance away next to the park.

Relaxing and fun for all ages

The house and lot were perfect for our family with the creek right behind, the river very close by and daily sightings of lots and lots of deer. Awesome place and hosts.

Perfect weekend getaway

The property was really awesome. Quiet and secluded and overall very relaxing. Outside fireplace on the deck was a great addition. Only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer. Definitely be back in the fall.

Great location for a quiet stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is your place. Loved the sound of the creek behind the cabin and all of the deer. The cabin was located toward the end of a street that dead ended at the river, so very quiet. The cabin was about in the middle of the resort, so it takes about twenty minutes to get Ellijay. Very nice pet friendly cabin.

Very comfortable property

We found the home to be just as described with the surprise that the river is much closer to the home than we thought - just one house away. Beautiful setting, with the stream running behind the deck. The sound was very soothing! We saw lots of deer right out our door. The home was nice and very comfortable for 2 - 4 people.

Great stay

Great place! Fun was had by all. The location is fantastic. Located at the end of the road, very quiet and private. Access to the river is footsteps away. We spent a whole day drifting, and swimming in the river. Deers are everywhere in the resort….awesome. The hot tub on the isolated deck was very chill. And the outside fireplace was extremely relaxing. Will definitely be back. The only negative thing I have to say is the downstairs shower did not work. We had to go upstairs to shower. Otherwise fantastic.

Wouldn't stay again, not worth the money we paid

Both the fireplace and fire pit wasn't clean, dinning room chairs was about to fall apart, the decks had debris everywhere and also green algae on deck, hot tub had no chemicals, floors was nasty had to sweep for our grandkids to play. They should give us some of our money back.

Beware of neighbor

My family and I stayed at the cabin 3 nights for Christmas. The photos make it seem like it’s more secluded than it actually is. The cabin is in a neighborhood with other houses and cabins close enough to see in their windows. The cabin itself was dreamy. The fireplace was cozy and the little creek in the backyard was postcard worthy. However, be careful going on walks if you have a dog. Every time I’d try to walk my dog, the neighbor’s dogs were loose and didn’t seem friendly towards other dogs. They would bark aggressively and come right into the cabin’s yard. As far as tech goes, the two TVs in the cabin are not smart TVs. If your kids are used to watching Netflix before bed, they’ll need to use their phones. The cabin has satellite. Also, many outlets around the cabin don’t work.

Great property

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. The dog run was adequate size for the dogs to do their business, as well as plenty of room on the porches to run around. Nice, quiet, and relaxing.

Needs tlc

All was well with the house, but bad musty smell on the furniture and bedding! Came home to do lots of laundry as everything in suitcase smelled bad!!! Also how about a bit of cleaning of the outside porch furniture? Filthy cushions! My hubby says please do some gutter cleaning as well, so the rain stays off the porch? Hope the ant problem gets solved too- nice try Ricky
