Imagine your getaway at this beautiful lakeside home nestled in the highly desired NE Quad of Lake Gaston, just minutes from shopping, restaurants, and other amenities! By water, enjoy a short 15-minute trip to the Eaton Ferry bridge area, where you'll find several fun places to visit, dine, or dock your boat for a leisurely day on the water.

The home features 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, including a master suite upstairs for added comfort. The fully stocked kitchen with island opens to the dining area and living room, creating the perfect space for gatherings. Relax by the gas fireplace, enjoy movie nights on the 55” TCL Roku smart TV, or unwind in the game room.

Step outside to the screened porch with seating for 4 or grill up a feast on the deck. For ultimate relaxation, head downstairs to the sauna or enjoy a workout in the weight room. Don't forget to roast marshmallows by the fire pit for some classic s'mores fun!

The area to park your boat is 9.5 feet wide and 2 feet deep. Best for a smaller boat.

Guests will have access to the entire house, except for a few owner's closets. Please note that boats are privately owned and not part of the rental.

The location was good for our family get-together. If you need dock space, you should coordinate with the owner, Tyler, to make sufficient room for your pontoon or power boat. There is very limited room on the outside of dock, as owner described as 9.5 x 2ft. We could not dock a rental pontoon boat or ski boat. We did not swim in dock area due to weeds, silt and algae.(Could not upload photo).

Spacious home on Lake Gaston

This waterfront home on Lake Gaston has plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with good cookware, plates and utensils. The property is well-kept and the neighborhood is quiet. Bob, the property manager, is very responsive and we enjoyed working with him. There are a few minor places for improvement. It seemed like the home had been cleaned after the last stay but that may have been awhile before we checked in - there was a film of dust on many surfaces and small dead worms on the carpet near the exterior doors. The rooms are large but we wished for more furniture, especially in the bedrooms - there was no seating in any of those rooms. And while the dock was very nice, there was no real room to cast a line for fishing. None of these issues was a deal-breaker, and we enjoyed ourselves despite a rainy week.

Poor conditions and no intent to resove issues 1/2

We arrived one day early and paid an additional day rent plus a fee for arriving a few hours early. The driveway had a massive boat trailer on the property limiting our parking access. The main entrance door and windows were covered with spider webs and residue. Main floor living room and office were sparsely furnished, with bare shelves, the kitchen itself had very minimal glassware (4 wine glasses, the rest was cheap plastic and cookware. A few cheap pans and a large pot and colander comprised the available cookware. There were no serving dishes of any kind making it difficult to entertain guests. The white porcelain kitchen sink needed scrubbing and bleaching, and the wood floor was stained with water spots from the drinking bowls of dogs. Throw rugs in the living area had not been vacuumed. Rusty toilet paper holder in the downstairs bathroom and the shower rugs in all bathrooms had not been washed in a while. This was not resolved thru our entire stay.

Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to address a few points. We do have a boat trailer, but it’s not what we’d describe as massive—it’s for our pontoon boat, and most homeowners in the area have similar trailers. We've placed it as far to the side as possible, and it has never been an issue for any of our previous guests. Regarding the spiders, we do schedule regular treatments, but since this is a lake house, some spiders are inevitable outdoors. As for the furnishings, everything is exactly as shown in the photos. During your stay, you raised several concerns, and we offered to have our cleaner return, but you declined to let them enter the property. We also reviewed video footage from just before your arrival and didn’t observe any of the issues you mentioned. Again, we appreciate your comments and hope this helps clarify things.
