Born in California in the 1960s, I served over 20 years in the Marine Corps before retiring in Orange County. My favorite song in high school was "Stairway to Heaven" and I still enjoy riding my Harley in my free time.
My wife and I recently purchased our first Airbnb property in Big Bear City. We aimed to create a welcoming retreat for guests that feels like home. Outside of hosting, I spend a lot of time socializing and value time with family and friends.
Though I may spend too much time chatting, I do speak both English and Spanish.

Big Bear Lake sits at 6,700 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains -- just 2 hours from Los Angeles, but a world away. In spring and summer, the area comes alive with hiking and biking trails through tall pines, kayaking and paddleboarding on the lake, and warm evenings in The Village with local dining and shops. Families love the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, and Gold Rush Mining for the kids.
