Xavia was very nice and helpful, but it took us a while to check in with the management. The apartment is spacious and clean. The location is very good.
What we were annoyed about was the entrance. Every time we had to put in the code several times before it went through. Even getting out was a hassle.
The apartment was equipped with a large laundry machine and dryer. But the vent vent inside and it was blocked. So I didn’t use the dryer.
Another thing was the noise outside.
But after all it was a good experience.
The location was absolutely what we were looking for, easy access to everything, yet set in a wonderful neighborhood. Pros: ample room for a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 tweens.2 bathrooms a plus.Location - ample food selections for all tastes nearby.Kitchen for quick snacks and stocking drinks.Balcony - loved to be able to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.Spacious enough for 4 people to be able to unwind. The two sofas was a great layout, one for tv watching and one for unwinding.Full size Washer and dryer in the unit was an excellent amenity.Black out shades in the bedrooms were a great feature as well. The building overall is very clean, safe entryway, well lit, clean elevator and corridors.Con’s:Location: it is on a busy street, and the sliding doors have single pane glass so you will hear everything. We were on a 5th floor and we could still hear it all. For the most part, we are used to night noise from chicago streets but it could be bothersome to light sleepers. The internet was spotty. The ONE TV is only streaming so must have subscriptions for various services. One tv for 4 people is not enjoyable. Especially when we like to view different shows- tweens vs adult. But we weren’t there for the tv, so it wasn’t really an issue as much.Although having a dryer in the unit was great, it vented back into the unit, so it would make the unit hot and smell like downy. We did enjoy the building and now know of a trusted brand to use next time we travel!
