This is a great place to relax and to use as a starting point for fun in the U.P.Great hosts. Lovely farm. Hosts raise organic vegetables, and raise and sell beef, chicken, and pork.
This is a wonderful cabin. We were there with our kids, 9 and 12, and it was just quiet and beautiful. Close enough to get to places, well-stocked, and Carol and Brian are lovely. Kids got to see the farm and pick eggs and see baby calves. They are already begging to come back next year.
We found this little cabin to be exactly what we wanted: very clean, well supplied, very quiet, super comfortable. It was a great starting point for all of our daily excursions.
Cute cabin set back in woods, very quiet, clean, not wanting for anything. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes peace and quiet and added bonus of woodland creatures.
We loved it so much in July so we decided to come again in February. Yes very cold, but besides that everything was great. We were able to have a few nice fires to keep warm outside. The wildlife is amazing! So many deer! See you again soon !
When they say quiet...they absolutely mean it! It was a very peaceful little cabin. They had absolutely everything there in case you forget somethings. The wildlife is amazing we saw so many deer and even a family of turkeys! We will definitely be back!
I had a great time staying here with my partner! It's incredibly quiet and private. The bed was cozy and comfortable and everything was well cared for. Every morning we loved watching the deer eat apples from the tree just outside. When we weren't out hiking, we spent a lot of time relaxing and either cooking meals with the fresh meat and veggies that we bought from the hosts, or we were working on a puzzle, which was also provided. We truly loved our stay here and would definitely come back!
February 2026 stay. There is nothing like waking up toasty and warm (even though it was below zero outside) on a beautiful winter day with a fresh snow on the pine trees. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet setting in the pine trees with no close neighbors this is the place for you!To start off, so many listings here and other sites are like real estate listings. They list all of the positives but they fail to point out (or show pictures of) the negatives. This place is the exception to that. Everything was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. A few things that are not in the description or photos:1. How absolutely immaculately clean the place was. 2. How fully equipped the cabin is. If you forgot something there is a good chance the hosts provided it.3. How attentive the hosts are. Not only checking in to see if you need anything, but putting in extra effort such as plowing the driveway despite it only being a one or two inch snowfall. 4. What friendly and truly nice people the hosts are. Both this cabin and the hosts well deserve a 10 on a 5 point scale. We will be glad to be return guests. O
This property was in a lovely wooded and grassy part of a farm. So peaceful and quiet. Grounds were neatly manicured. Fire pit and sitting area were great. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything you would need. Hosts were great folks who communicated quickly. This was a relaxing respite for us as we had been in a small camper for three weeks. Will definitely keep this little gem in our minds for the future.
We took a little sister trip to the up as we do every year and with it being so late in the year we decided to bnb instead of camping and we were so glad to find this space! The yard was beautifully taken care of along with the cabin. There were basic essentials stocked if we had forgotten anything and a tv/phone adapter to stream movies. The location was a little drive out of the nearest town with a gorgeous neighborhood and the neighbors we did see were very friendly. The host was very good with communication and the check in/ check out went very smooth. The wildlife we saw everyday was also super cool. The weather wasn’t very nice one of the days we stayed but the cabin was very homey and the heat worked wonderfully. Overall and really good place to stay.
