Enjoyed the serenity and sunshine on the porch watching the Cardinals, squirrels, and deer. A peaceful neighborhood setting on a hilltop perch surrounded by trees. The home features 1st class lighting & water delivery engineering, very luxurious. After a riotous tubing outing at Norway Mountain, screened Hamnet on a giant viewing screen. Only 5 blocks from historical-themed Henry's Steak House. Monica provides superior hosting service and a special retreat.

The house was nice and clean, 2 full bathrooms helped us get on our way early in the morning, we loved all the deer in the neighborhood. Our only hiccup was the code lock on the door and Monica was always quick to respond to our questions!

The road offset and property layout is under-rated and provided great views (deer in the yard seen from the deck during morning coffee every morning) and privacy. The interior had a very nice modern renovation. Quiet neighborhood!! Quick access to highway 2 and services in KIngsford/Iron Mountain.

Perfect for our need

This was a pleasant stay for our young family of five. It was lovely to see deer that would fearlessly frequent the area and bed down in the yard. The master bed was very comfortable to sleep in and the bunk beds were too as I was told. It was nice to be in a safe and quiet area and we would certainly stay here when we come out here again. The house inside was very nice, the location was nice and convenient for what we needed with having family in kingston, niagara and aurora. The only thing i would want to bring to your attention if no one had before would be the outside walk way steps are becoming loose and could become a tripping issue.

Wonderful

My husband and I enjoyed the cottage. The decor was beautiful. We had a very relaxing time and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. We saw some deer walking through the property too. There is much you can do in that area. We got some hiking in while and enjoyed good food from restaurants in the area. We will go again and stay longer next time!

The property was clean, cute, pictures were accurate, had ample kitchen wear, etc. Seems to need a larger hot water heater.Heaters on walls work well, to supplement main heat, but seem to be on a circuit that is not rated for their power draw.Owner was very responsive to heat & power issues during stay.

This house was everything we needed and more! Our daughter works at a wilderness adventure resort nearby so we came for a long weekend to visit her and experience some of the activities her company provides. We had not seen her for months so I knew that the house we rented needed to “feel like home” and provide the comforts of home. Siri’s Pride and Joy did exactly that!!! I knew I wanted a fully functional kitchen that would be stocked with everything I needed to cook a full family dinner for her & her coworkers one night to celebrate her birthday. This home had EVERYTHING stocked that I needed to make a home cooked meal, including a Bundt cake pan for her favorite dessert! I also knew I wanted a place with a washer and dryer so I could do laundry after long days of white water rafting, zip lining, kayaking and hiking. The last thing I wanted to do was pack a bunch of dirty laundry to bring home and this house made sure I didn’t have to bu having a full size washer & dryer!The location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood and I loved having coffee on the deck every morning while watching the deer a few feet away. One evening we came back to find 13 deer grazing in the front yard! We will DEFINITELY rent Siri’s Pride & Joy next summer when we go back to visit again! It’s perfect - cute, cozy, quaint, quiet, modern & updated with everything that you need to have a home away from home!!!

So as a way to honor her wishes we remodel her home and have set it up will all of the comforts of home to help you enjoy your stay in the Iron Mountain, Kingsford Area. It is our hope that the love the we all felt in Siri's home will extent during your stay as well.

What makes this property unique

The property is nestled on top of a hill and provides very private setting with some really great views of the neighborhood. On a clear day you may even be able to see cows roaming on the hillside in Aurora, Wi.
