Please be aware that because Port Aransas is a unique coastal community, cable and Wi-Fi connectivity might be unpredictable. Thank you for acknowledging that we have no control over these services. Service interruptions will not qualify for any discounts or reimbursements.
GUEST VERIFICATION:
To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.
Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:
- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.
- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.
- Paying a non-refundable $60 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out. This is collected either at the time of payment through the booking platform or afterward, depending on which platform you use to book.
The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

We had a great time at the Salty Pelican property. Tons of space and seating areas. Great location and easy access to beach and pool. Glad we stayed here and will look to do so again in the future.
The salty pelican is in a great location with a really beautiful view off the back porch to have your morning coffee. The home was very clean and the AC was nice and cold. It is close to everything you would want but secluded enough to have privacy, peace and quiet. The house has everything you need if you like to make meals at home. We had a great time and will be back:)
This property is absolutely amazing! The ONLY reason we didn't rate it 5 stars is because the back bedroom upstairs is sooooo hot. We even called maintenance out after the first night because we thought something was wrong, but he informed us the duct work was just poorly done. We were there during a record heat wave so it was pretty miserable trying to sleep at night, even with multiple fans that we had brought from home. A simple wall unit would solve the problem easily. Other than that, it was amazing!!! The house was super clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The yard and pool were perfect for entertaining littles. The management staff was very responsive and the maintenance man was super nice and efficient! We will def stay there again, but hopefully something will be done about the air flow to the back bedroom before then.
The property was phenomenal! Location was great and quiet! Pool was just 2 houses down. Bout a minute walk to it. The patio out back was perfect for lounging in the morning with coffee and a cold beverage in the afternoon to watch the moom shine bright. Inside was clean and very well taken care of with everything you could possibly need. The beach was just about a 5 ton10 min drive. Grab a sticker at your local gas station or town grocery store and your set. Only bad thing which isn't really a bad thing is that we couldnt rent a golf cart while there cause nobody will let you take it on the north side of the main road because of traffic. So if your bringing your own your golden. If you dont have one then you could just rent one for the day. Bring a couple extra pillows and beds are on the hard side which we like but if your a softee you might need to figure something out. Like the title says. We absolutely loved it and will be back!

Can’t give excellent but definitely above average house. TV can’t get network so missed golf after beach. Outlets in RR didn’t work which is an inconvenience for sure. Propane grill albeit old and not good brand was a pleasant surprise as we were told it would be charcoal.
House was super clean, the view from the back balcony was awesome especially at breakfast time. My 4 year old enjoyed all the outdoor space. The beds were comfortable!

Downsides - you can’t crossover to the beachside on a golf cart-
No extra linens- no pillows, blankets or sheets and they provide exactly one towel and one washcloth for each guest, so if you don’t want to do laundry everyday you’re on vacation you’ll need to bring your own
Find this place at the last minute, what a gem. So clean, spacious and the perfect location. The scenery from the balcony patio is perfect overlooking the fountain in the pond. Close to the community pool. So glad to find this spot. We will definitely be going back.
This place is amazing 👏. The cleanliness of the property was a plus. The basic necessities were all there to cook with, the space and layout of the home was perfect and the out door space was divine. I do wish there would have been a few more trash bags for the kitchen trash can and I do wish there would have been a first aid kit. The hubby tumbled down the stairs one night when he missed the last step and skinned his knee. We needed a band-aid for his boo boo! 😂 Everything else was perfectly placed and that master shower is BOMB!! And the AC was an artic blaster, that thing works great!! Overall stay was great! Definitely will be booking this place again.
The neighborhood and property were very well maintained and perfect for our family (three couples) trip this last weekend. House was stocked with everything we needed and the back porch overlooking the pond was incredibly relaxing.
The property was great! The location was convenient to Port A beaches, stores and restaurants. Yet, out of the way enough to be quiet and peaceful. I was worried about having enough space but the layout and porches made the property seem much larger than the actual square footage listed in the description. It was very clean and well decorated. Unlike some privately owned properties, this house did not have any basic spices, cooking oils or coffee. Make sure to bring your own. I would recommend to anyone.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house is actually much more spacious than the pictures convey, which was a great surprise. Only about a 5 minute (not even) drive to the beach. I do wish the management was a little bit more accepting of early arrivals though. We arrived an hour early but still didn't get access to the house until 5 minutes to check in. The house had everything we needed and it was beautiful and we would definitely stay here again.
Had a great experience staying here. The property is in a great neighborhood, close to restaurants and the beach, and we loved the pool. Would definitely stay here again!
