About this property
House & Cottage in Summit Point - Wild & Wonderful
The RUBY SUMMIT POINT House & Cottage combined rental offers an oasis for your group of friends & family. This is a well-appointed property, with carefully curated furnishings, spaces, and amenities. We want you to have an extraordinary experience.
The House has 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a King bed w/luxury Avocado mattress, a private bathroom w/double vanity, separate shower & soaking tub, walk in closet and french doors that open to the deck. The second bedroom has 2 TwinXL beds. The third bedroom has a Queen log bed. Along the same hall as the bedrooms, there is another full bathroom. Additionally, the House has a full kitchen, large gathering room and a large dining room.
The two-story Cottage is comprised of The Loft (King and Two TwinXLs), the Full bedroom downstairs, a living area with sofabed and TV, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with separate shower room and toilet room.
All linens are provided. We use luxury white bedding throughout and plenty of pillows. Bath, hand, and face towels are provided. For showering, we provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as bath poofs. You will find a variety of “oops I forgot something” toiletries as well.
The kitchen in the House is fully stocked with all the cooking supplies you might need – pots, pans, skillets, baking dishes, etc. Basics of supplies are also provided such as leftover containers and wraps.
The property provides a fantastic gathering pace for your group. Play games in the large yard. Whip up dinner on the grill in the covered grilling station. Have dinner at the dining table on the deck or under the pergola. Relax in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the sunset. Talk until the wee hours around the campfire.
Locally you will find a large variety of things to do such as: Summit Point Motorsports Park, Veramar Vineyards, Bluemont Vineyards, Bear Chase Brewery, Cool Springs Nature Preserve, Locke Store, Devils Due Distillery, Rippon Brewing, Harpers Ferry Adventure Center & Brewing, Historic Shepherdstown/Charles Town/Berryville, Many Christmas Tree Farms, Picking Farms, Farmers Markets, Goat Yoga, and Artists’ Studios.
A few notes:
- We do not ask you to clean ANYTHING upon departure.
- We do have a private apartment that we use a few times a year with a separate entrance on the lower level of the house. We may or may not use it while you are there.
- If you plan to have any gatherings with more people than are on the contract, please contact the us for prior approval.
- Pets must be specified on the reservation upfront, pay the applicable pet fee and abide by all House Rules.
- Some days, you can hear the racecars from Summit Point during the day as background noise. What you CANNOT hear (or feel) are the freight trains that come through Summit Point a few times a night.
