Beautiful house in a quaint neighborhood. It was quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the nearby trail and the easy access to the main road. Comfortable beds. Many sitting areas around the house.
Great location. Super easy check in. The house and yard were great! We’d definitely consider staying here again if we find ourselves planning another Grand Haven trip.
Perfect location, stores- restaurants-beach all nearby

Spring Lake Vacation
House was just what we needed for our group. Good location for what we wanted to do. Enjoyed using the back deck and the fire pit in the evenings. Used the Blackstone griddle almost every morning to fix breakfast.
Home was great - just what we needed! We were in town for a family reunion at my nephew's in Nunica. Home was much bigger than I understood from the pictures - there was plenty of room for the ten of us to spread out. Home was super clean and walkable to many bars and restaurants.
The only complaints were a shortage of towels and some cobwebs in a corner, otherwise we all enjoyed our stay.

Overall, the property was fine for our family of 10 to stay but nothing more. The inside space we found to be as listed in terms of the available bedrooms and living spaces to spread out in. We did not feel crammed and we did like the neighborhood. It was quiet and near the water. However, there are many updates or simple necessities that are needed for staying in a house that were lacking. As a group, we have stayed in the area many times and found other properties to be more comfortable. In general, this space lacked usable dishes, towels, and pans. For instance, the plates were not microwave safe but clearly others have used them in the microwave and therefore they were peeling. Another example would be oven mitts that had holes in them. The same could be true of certain towels and pans in the home with regards to their upkeep. When we arrived, the coffee pot was not emptied from the previous renter and there were multiple places that were not entirely clean (flies on window sills, crumbs on counter, etc). Additionally, there were many things that need repair like toilet paper holder falling off the walls, tub front panel that fell multiple times, etc. One other concern was the yard space. It was usable yet had many weeds and needs better maintenance and landscaping to make it the "outside oasis" it was described as.
We enjoyed having space we could all utilize together but also having areas where we could have privacy. We really enjoyed the backyard with the use of the fire pit and grill/blackstone. The host were very responsive during our trip- we ran out of propane on the grill and they had one there the next morning. We loved the close proximity to North Beach and spent several evenings there watching the sunset. We really enjoyed being able to easily drive to Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon and Grand Rapids for our adventures! Highly recommend this property!

This was a nice place to stay in Spring Lake, with close proximity to Grand Haven, Muskegon, & Holland. The house has plenty of room with 3 full bathrooms! The fenced in backyard was great for our little dog, and we made good use of the fire pit (wood supplied) and the two grills (Blackstone & regular gas grill). The Spring Lake walk path is very close by and provides access to a nice loop around the many local businesses and parks surrounding the downtown area. We were able to watch the Grand Haven fireworks from Mill Point park just a short walk away. Check in was smooth once we received communication about gaining access to the home. The deck patio needed a little clean up (leaves, cobwebs, etc), but after sweeping it off it made a nice place to enjoy some sunshine. The Blackstone was great, used it 3-4 times during the week, but it did need a good cleaning before we used it. All in all it was a pleasant stay, great location as a launching point for the many places to go see and things to do in west Michigan.
We really liked this place. It was a large home in a quiet neighborhood. Loved how close it was to Grand Haven State Park and the yard with outdoor amenities like the Blackstone and fire pit. Things that could have been better: there was pet hair on most of the furniture, pillows and blankets in the common areas and master bedroom. (All the bed were clean though). The stove top was very hard to use because it had no low or medium setting. It was either off or super hot.
