It's a lovely property in an amazing area of Seattle. The host was excellent to communicate with, and the location is conveniently close to shopping, with quick commutes to downtown, the beach, and event venues.
We had a great time! Conveniently located walking distance from shops and restaurants. The place had everything we needed for a week long stay with friends.
Great location with ocean view on one side and city on the other! Appreciated the host replying quickly. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed having a peaceful cozy place to come back to. Would definitely stay here again!
Love the heated floors in the entry, kitchen and bath. Well equipped kitchen. Tv room and dining area are nice. Bedrooms are spacious, lots of hangers and comfortable beds. Close to the Junction shops and restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood with sidewalks. It is a basement so natural light is limited but very well lit with lamps, and ceiling lights.
We flew into Seattle for a weekend wedding and the location and nature of the unit were perfect for our needs. After long days of exploring the city and jumping around to various events, it was nice to come back and relax in this comfortable and homey basement apartment. The unit was clean, and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet with a vibrant area of restaurants and shops only a few minutes away.
Cheryl provided clear check-in and check-out instructions and was communicative and responsive throughout the rental process. I highly recommend the West Seattle Hideaway to anyone looking for a calm place to stay during their travels.
The location is good and in a lovely neighborhood. Unfortunately, the furniture was not comfortable and seemed very cheap. My grandma was unable to sleep there due to back pain. There was no departure information or a welcome paper upon arrival. We had to leave a day early due to the furniture being so uncomfortable. We would have completed all necessary departure requirements if it was listed on paper.

Thank you for your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. I wish you had mentioned your concerns after my check-in email on your first night; we would have loved the opportunity to address them.
We also weren’t aware that you checked out early, which meant you missed our check-out instructions sent the day before.
We appreciate your insights and are always looking for ways to improve. We recently purchased a brand new sofa sleeper for the living room that comfortably accommodates two guests, and we hope it enhances future stays.
We would be delighted to host you again if you decide to return. Thank you again for your feedback!
