About this property

Central Lakeland Home Convenient to Downtown, Universities and Tampa & Orlando

My historic home is waiting for you! Open, modern space w/ 2 bedrooms + bonus room, back deck and huge back yard with all the amenities needed for a short stay or staycation. Walk Lake Hollingsworth, tour Florida Southern's beautiful campus, or travel 5 minutes to get to Southeastern University. If you're looking for a family-friendly experience, look no further than Bonnet Springs Park, home of the Florida Children's Museum. One of the greatest benefits of this location is how easily you can travel to Disney, Busch Gardens, LEGOLAND, Peppa Pig, Lake Myrtle Sport Complex, and more!

Our guests love how convenient the house is to downtown, and the other activities that take place in Lakeland. Whether you're visiting for family, or traveling to Lakeland for work, or if you're looking for a great location to come down and catch the Detroit Tigers Spring Training, or the SUN 'n FUN Fly In, you'll find so much to do in and around this cozy retreat! Enjoy a quiet, brick paved street, away from noisy traffic, but close to everything in town.

The space
This charming single family bungalow home is located in the most coveted part of Lakeland, just off Lake Hollingsworth! The original wood floors, combined with the newly decorated and freshly painted interior, will make you feel right at home! Enjoy the Florida sunset on the back porch with a glass of wine, or read the morning news with a hot cup of coffee.

You are located near lots of favorite Foodie spots, like award winning Nineteen61, and and just a few miles from downtown and Dixieland.

Enjoy a tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, or a visit to the Farmers Market on Saturday or check out First Fridays downtown!

I am usually available to offer suggestions for great local activities to help you maximize your stay and fall in love with my home town!

We are waiting for you!
Guest access
You will have full access to the house, and the backyard, including the back deck, which has comfortable furniture to enjoy the warm Florida sunshine!

Other things to note
Plan on bringing groceries, condiments, and other necessities during your stay. The refrigerator will be completely empty, and freshly cleaned. There may be some coffee, popcorn or other snacks available, but for the most part, you'll want to plan your stay as if you were visiting a hotel.
