The space
Stay in a little piece of history. Built in the early 1900's, this unique 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom family home was at one time where an old radio station was broadcasted and was also the former home of a Baseball player from the early 1900's.

The home is decorated with unique pieces and restored back to original charm. Equipped with all your essentials and conveniently located in walking distance to Downtown Melbourne and minutes from the beaches, Holmes Hospital, the Airport and much more!

When you arrive, you will park in the circle driveway. Walk up a few stairs onto the spacious covered front porch.

Inside has unique curved ceilings, a bright living room with large windows, a cozy wrap-around sofa and a 55" TV equipped with Roku TV. The kitchen is an open country-like setting with an eat-in area and is adjacent to the full dining room. The kitchen is bright with a full-size refrigerator, flat top stove/oven combo, dishwasher, Keurig machine and all your cooking essentials to enjoy home cooked meals during your stay. The eat-in kitchen seats 5 and the dining room seats 6.

There are two bathrooms both with showers and one with a tub/shower combo right next to each bedroom. The spacious master bedroom has a King size bed that has electric head and foot elevation and massaging. The other bedroom has a queen bed with an attached tub/shower combo bathroom.

There is a stackable washer and dryer in the pantry off the kitchen as well as 2 towels per bathroom and extra beach towels.

Additionally we offer a jogger stroller, pack and play, highchair and booster for babies and toddlers.

We have three separate houses on this large property.

Guests have access to the full home. The property is adjoined with two other rentals that share the courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the outdoors.

Please remove your shoes at the door before walking through the home.

Other things to note
ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES/ UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES OR GUESTS WILL BE TOLERATED AT THIS SPACE. ALSO because of the owners allergies we cannot allow any animals in our unit. This is a policy we strictly enforce and will have to charge a cleaning fee of up to 1000 USD if violated.

The internet is ATT and is 100mbps. The TV is for streaming only and we offer no cable TV. The smart TV has the apps such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon TV to name a few you can login too if you have accounts for various desired apps. Please be sure to log out of your account before leaving. We try to accommodate tech issues with internet and smart TV's but we are not the geek squad and do our best to ensure they all work.

Great Stay

This property was clean and had everything we needed to have a fantastic mini-vacation in Melbourne. Everything was as described in the listing. Loved the country home feel. The host was responsive whenever we had questions, and promptly sent someone out to the house to help when one of us locked us out of the house by accident. The only negative was that the road in the neighborhood was a bit busier than anticipated, so there was a lot of car/motorcycle noise even throughout the night. Overall we give this stay 5 stars. Thanks!

Great for Florida Institute of Technology Graduation

This home was perfect for our visit to attend Florida Institute of Technology graduation day. It's really close to the campus and the neighborhood is quiet. The home is beautiful and the space is so much better than a hotel and is comparable in price or better. The host, Joe, answered concerns in a timely fashion. We did have a few things,and when we contacted him, he thanked us and said those issues would be addressed for future guests. We would be willing to stay again if we are on the area for an event and are willing to recommend The White House in Melbourne.

Overall the property was good. Our suggestions; Black mode on screens in the bedrooms, need to be cleaned. Towels should be replaced, we went out and bought new ones. Keurig was very dirty, needs cleaned after every visit. No toilet paper in bathrooms, went out the first night at 10pm to buy some. Elizabeth Kline

Poor communication. Host was not nice.

I have been using Vrbo for several years and this property needs some updated furniture and a new key pad for entry. Usually there is an information booklet. For trash beach chairs comfortable living room furniture. The host Joe acted like I was lying about his data that he gave us. I was just disappointed and will look for other rentals next year. He told us a wrong password several times. We found the info on the refrigerator.
