Llama Stay is a large restored, sun-splashed mid-century brick home with oak floors, chef's granite kitchen, designer decor, memory foam beds, off street parking--on 1.25 acres (half is bamboo forest). We are a working, urban rescue farm with a chicken coop. Rescued llamas and alpacas roam across the side fence, next door. East Atlanta Village is 1.5 miles away and offers great eateries, bars, shopping. Experience the best of both worlds with country out back and city out front.
We understand that life happens. As a rescue farm, we hope that you understand the necessity to uphold our cancellation policy. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance that covers your loss from last-minute cancellations (due to theft, medical/health issues, weather, etc.) Travel Guard is an affordable option to ensure you’re covered in the event of the unexpected.
We will send you check-in instructions a day or two before your arrival.
The mid-century Llama Stay cottage is roomy with an open concept floor plan. The kitchen opens into the dining room and living room and these spaces flow together for entertainment or family togetherness. On the left side of the house, we have two sun-splashed bedrooms that share a full bathroom with white-tiled shower, granite topped vanity, and an antique medicine cabinet.
On the other side of the public spaces (kitchen, living room, dining room), we have a sun room/ bedroom with a half bath and access into the garage, which houses both the W/D and our ping pong table.
Upstairs, through the glass French door, is the large roomy master ensuite to a spacious bathroom with large shower and double granite topped vanities. This space has a gorgeous view of the pastoral back yard and bamboo forest. You won’t know you’re in the City as you gaze out the window.
Our farm cottage is located in City of Atlanta and part of a three house working farm. We have chickens in a small coop in the backyard (you may hear the rooster singing in the morning). And yet, we are just 7miles from downtown high rises and 1.5 miles from hip East Atlanta Village.
