About this property

The property is located at the end of a quite cul du sac within the family friendly Sea Colony Beach Community. The house has 2 master bedrooms plus 2 additional large bedrooms which all provide privacy from the main living area. There are 3 dining areas including the main dining room, plus breakfast nook with French doors giving a direct view onto the lake, plus outdoor dining on the water front patio.

The patio has shaded seating and is fully furnished for waterside reading or chats. Additionally, there is a screened porch which provides shaded and sheltered fresh air seating for morning coffee and conversation. If one wants to get away form the crowd there is always a place to relax, including the second floor balcony which overlooks the lake and catches the morning sun.

Furnishings are have an island feel giving a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere.

I've been spending summers in Bethany and Sea Colony for 35 years. Come to Sea Colony and enjoy.

Why the Owner Chose Sea Colony: Bethany Beach and Sea Colony are ideal vacation locations for multi-generational or single family vacations. The town is safe and the beaches are clean. There are excellent restaurants within a short bike ride or walk from the house. The community of Sea Colony has 5 pools along the beach and 6 other pools within the community. There is excellent tennis for all levels of play with 13 hartru and 14 hard-court, plus 6 hard indoor courts. Sea Colony is one of the top rated tennis resorts in the USA.

The Unique Benefits of this Townhome: This property is distinguished by a very private and relaxed atmosphere with a large south facing patio on the lakefront, plus a cozy screened west facing porch also on the waterfront. Entertaining, reading or relaxing is wonderful in either location.

Short vacation stay for additional family.

Great ease and great communication from owners. Respond quickly to questions. They're very kind and helpful. Also pleased that the rental of linens was taken care of by owners.

Relaxing family stay

A very nice house with great location along with the usual hiccups (one pillowcase missing, several lights in a bathroom would not come on). All in all, a nice, relaxing family beach vacation

Spacious rental for family vacation

The only way that this listing is inaccurate is that the pictures don't do justice to just how much space is in this townhouse. It is really large, and has great outdoor space as well. We were very comfortable here and the owners were easy to work with. The beds are also really comfortable, much better than you normally get in a rental. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider renting it again.

Spacious and peaceful

The layout of the condo is perfect. Much bigger inside than it appears on the outside. Wonderful screened in porch with a beautiful pond view. Loved that it included bikes, beach chairs and umbrella. Personality of the owners speaks through the decor. A mermaid definitely lives there!!

Always favor Sea Colony for a more local family beach vacation.

The house was spacious and provided bedrooms for everyone. We greatly enjoyed evenings on the screened in patio overlooking the lagoon. There were only a few drawbacks that required work around. There was limited closet space in several bedrooms as the owners’ itmes were in them. This is the first time ever having this issue with a rental. Parking was the biggest disappointment. Parking passes were not in the unit as promised in the arrival packet. Two parking passes for five cars caused undue stress at the outset of our arrival. We worked around it on a daily basis.
