Packwood is a charming town located in the heart of the Cascades, with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. The home is conveniently located just a short drive from Mount Rainier National Park, where you can hike, bike, and explore the beautiful landscape. Also, a short drive to White Pass Ski area, making it a great spot for winter sports enthusiasts.

The cabin is situated in a small vacation town of Packwood, Washington. Its remote location and small town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. Occasionally, you may be greeted by wandering herds of elks. They are very friendly and visitors enjoy seeing them in person.

Packwood's remote location suggest you should arrive with your own vehicle which will allow you to visit and explore everything the region has to offer.

Please note that all the sleeping accommodation are upstairs. The stairs may not be suitable for small children or elderly folks.
All the beds are in one shared space upstairs with feature a "full" bed, and 3 single/twin beds. A mini split heat/ AC unit is also located in the bedroom space.

During the summer a burn ban may go into effect in all of Lewis County. During this time campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and any other form of burning may be prohibited.

Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guest's responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.
