This is a fabulous property with high end amenities. We enjoyed the fun outside games and relaxation area. The cabins are very clean and well stocked with every amenity that you will need. Highly recommend!
My partner and I had a wonderful trip here. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. It felt like home away from home, would stay again!
We were beyond pleased with our stay at this cabin. We chose to stay here while visiting Mount Rainier. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable…a fully equipped kitchen, lots of indoor and outdoor games, a Weber grill, a fire pit (firewood was provided!), all the fixings to make s’mores, a picnic table under a gazebo, a hot tub, and more!!! The grocery store, restaurants, and shops were a short drive into town. We hope to return and spend more time there in the future!
This is an excellent property and the hosts have prepared and stocked for everything! It was beautiful, clean, they had great communication, and it was an hour away from the southeast entrance for Mt Rainier. Could not recommend this place more
This place had so many unexpected amenities - we spent the first 15 minutes just exploring all the thoughtful touches throughout this cabin. The owner has impeccable taste and has taken extraordinary efforts to ensure a comfortable stay. Had we recognized the full extent of what this cabin had to offer, and the charm of Packwood, I think we would have scheduled one more day in our trip just to enjoy the rental and the town. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Had an amazing time. Got to hear some great live music by VaughtRock at the longmeier springs brewery..will make it a must to return.
Love this cabin and all the loving touches that they put into making your stay fabulous
We really enjoyed this property in Packwoood during our visit to Mount Ranier. The home has been furnished beautifully. Beautiful landscaping in the front and back yards. Thoughtful additions such as S’mores fixin’s.
It’s clear the hosts really went above-and-beyond to make this a first class property - and we really appreciated it.
We had a fabulous time at this cabin. So many little details (phone chargers, mini packets of condiments, etc) have been thought out to really enhance the experience. My kids LOVED the hot tub, endless supply of yard games, and s’mores fixins. We loved the stocked kitchen and super private backyard. Carrie was a responsive and kind host! We’d love to return in the future!
The cabin is extremely well thought out. Everything you could want for a family trip is there and in great condition. The yard was an honest to goodness showstopper, and the kitchen was perfectly functional. Every item you could need was there. The space was neat and comfortable. Coming from socal this cabin was legitimately bigger than most homes in my area so it felt very luxurious for a woodland property. The proximity the the east side of Rainier met our needs well. The only.caveat I could offer is that the hottub had a strong smell that detered us from using it. We hopped in initially and pretty quickly realized the water's odor was too much. It gave all appearances of maintenance, so I wonder if the water there just has a ton of sulfur or something. Regardless, if you want, the owner will send a professional to do an additional clean for 30, which is reasonable. We just opted to do other things instead of hottubbing. This is all to say if you are looking for a cabin to sleep, dine and relax in, this one is AMAZING. If the primary draw is the hottub, I might look somewhere else, or communicate that in advance and request a special deep clean.
We've done a bunch of VRBO stays over the years, and this place was truly one of the best experiences we've had. My wife and I have a 10 and 13 year old boy, and the amenities this cabin had available checked all the boxes and then some for our family. The outdoor games, hot tub, XBox, fire pit stocked with kindling and wood, smores fixings (really nice touch!), and just about the most well stocked kitchen we've ever experienced. We did not eat out at all during our stay and bought groceries locally. They were a bit pricey, but we were glad we chose this approach vs going out to eat. Great stay! Highly recommend this place!
The cabin is everything the advertisement says and more. Pictures can’t capture the large and expertly designed yard. Our hosts thought of literally everything. From waffle makers, panini presses, umbrellas, towels for outdoors, etc. We can’t wait to stay here again.
This is a really nice little cabin that is beautifully appointed. Everything about it is really nice and it's one of, if not the best, VRBO's we have stayed in in this price range as far as comfort and quality goes (and we have stayed in a lot of them). I wish we could have used the back yard area because it looks great, and if we were here during a warmer time of year we surely would have. We loved the way the small property was landscaped. You could tell a lot of thought and love went into both the cabin and the front and back yard. If I were to get a little nit picky about anything it would be that this cabin is located in an older, and very large, development/neighborhood with a lot of sub par mobile/manufactured homes/RV's and small cabins on small lots, but this cabin is like a little oasis amongst those so I'm still giving it 5 stars.
We loved staying in this home! It was stocked with ALL THE THINGS! Our host, Carrie, was so responsive. The internet went out in the whole town…thankfully the cabin had so many games. Our family enjoyed a (much needed) device break. Carrie was accommodating with our late check out request which made our White Pass ski weekend even more memorable. We rate this experience 10 of 10. Can’t wait to book next year!
Over the years I've stayed at various homeshares, but I've never stayed somewhere that was so thoughtful as this home. Everything you could want and everything you didn't think you wanted but actually did is in this home, from picnic blankets to hammocks to a hot water tap on the sink. I traveled specifically to hike and I must admit, I was debating giving up my plans just to stay in the home and enjoy the amenities a little longer. The host was fabulous too, when a travel change meant an alteration in my reservation, they were kind enough to accept my request. Truly a houseshare experience that will probably ruin all others for me, it was just that good.
We absolutely loved our stay at THE CABIN! From the moment we pulled up, we were in love with the property. Very clean, very comfortable, and VERY relaxing. The backyard was great and we had a blast playing all of the yard games. I took a nap on the deck, listening to the birds. Evenings were spent soaking sore hiker muscles in the hot tub and watching movies by the fireplace. Hands down the most relaxing vacation stay I've ever had and I plan to come back soon!
lovely cabin. host has lots of details for guests, there was no need to contact as instructions for everything as simple as the coffee maker were easy and available. Just needed to contact host for a simple issue and communication was fast and constant. Location is great when visiting Mt Rainer and close to restaurants and grocery store.
We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was the perfect size. Tons of games and media options for lazy afternoons. The backyard was precious and landscaped beautifully. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! This cabin has everything you could want for making a meal, with the kitchen stocked better than any other place we’ve stayed. The hot tub was very enjoyable on tired and achy backs and legs after hiking. A couple things to note. There were a few spiders in the bathroom near the tub, and light fixtures in the bathroom were sporting cobwebs. The queen bed in the main bedroom was a bit hard, but doable. Overall, we were impressed and would stay again!
Perfect stay. Well organized cabin, and very well appointed. Ckean, and super relaxing. We wanted for nothing. The beds were extremely comfortable. After a day of strenuous hiking with epic views, coming back for a shower rinse and soak in the hot tub, was superb. The games both indoor and outdoor were such fun! We will be back!
