We enjoyed the stay very much! Everything needed was there. Was able to bring boat and take full advantage of the place being on the water. Enjoyed the sunsets and the the schools of fish and dolphins herding them up all from the balcony!
This place was perfect! 4 unit building right on the water. Very clean, beds super comfortable, amazing view and location was quiet. Loved sitting out on the balcony or down on the dock. We saw all kinds of fish and birds. I would definitely stay here again.
A very lovely weekend getaway spot. Kelly, Sarah and Dave were great with quick responses to our inquiries. We stayed in the Bridge unit which was perfect, especially the water and sunset views. Perfect location to Main Street and Honeymoon Island. Will definitely plan to return.
Nautical Landings was just as expected. The location is great - right on the water and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and beached. Owners were very easy to deal with and very responsive. Will return!

Thank you for the kind words. You are welcome back anytime!
Overall OK. A few things that we did not like. The front entry door to the stairs had a coded lock which was not working properly. The door was always unlocked. The door from the upper rear patio to the outside stairs had no lock. The fence gates on either side of the unit had no locks either. This would allow any one to enter the outside rear of the property from the street at any time. Once on the property, they could easily break into the unit thru the glass patio door as it is on the second floor in the rear and cannot be seen by anyone in the area. The upper patio exit door and both fence gates should have coded locks just like the entry door to the unit. Not a very safe or secure location due to those factors. Many of the chairs on the dock platform had loose screws and parts. When you would sit in them they would move in a rearward direction, were not stable and were uncomfortable because of the unnecessary movement. When the AC stops running there are some popping and clicking noises for a few seconds which sounded like someone trying to open the unit door. The noises made it hard to sleep as it did it every time the AC shut off. Unable to use the kayaks as putting them into and getting them out of the water is a joke. Very poor setup compared to a property 3 doors down which has a lower dock to accommodate putting a kayak into the water and getting in and out properly. Overall an OK place but the security issue is why I probably will never rent it again.
My wife, our 14-year-old son, and I had a fantastic stay at Nautical Landings. We visit Dunedin annually, and this was by far the most convenient and enjoyable location we've chosen—right on the waterfront! The neighbors were welcoming, Kelly the host responded quickly, and Steve the property manager was super nice (though we didn't need his assistance). The dock and overall location are top-notch. We'll definitely plan to book here again next time we're in Dunedin. Thanks so much!
Dunedin is filled with delectable dining spots specializing in fresh, local fare. The Island Outpost, within walking distance, is an open-air restaurant serving contemporary American cuisine. Try the mahi mahi; it's divine! If you head downtown, just two short miles away, you can enjoy the flavors of Mexico at Casa Tina's, serving authentic "south of the border" dishes. Or, head to the Old Bay Cafe for casual, waterfront dining, The Black Pearl for an elegant date night, or The Living Room, for gourmet tapas-style food in an elegant, Old World setting.
When in Florida, you gotta hit the beaches. It's a rule! And Dunedin has two of the best along the entire Gulf Coast: Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island. At Honeymoon, you can rent water sports equipment, collect shells or grab a grouper sandwich in the beachfront snack shack. Then, climb aboard the ferry or take one of our kayaks to Caladesi, one of Florida's protected barrier islands, to enjoy one of the most beautiful natural beaches you'll ever see.
If your older kids are itching for some fun, then rent a sailboat, paddleboards or jet skis within easy walking distance of Nautical Landings.
From touring the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs to enjoying a crazy theme-park day at Busch Gardens in Tampa to cheering on the Dunedin Blue Jays, you'll have plenty of opportunities to have a blast with the family.
Check out The Pinellas trail - it's right outside our door! - for an adventure-packed bike ride through quaint downtown cityscapes and scenic coastal areas.
Our kayaks are always available, too. Hop aboard (don't forget the shoes!) and check out the outlying islands in St. Joseph's Sound or meander through the mangroves along Caladesi's shoreline.
You can run along the Honeymoon Causeway. You can pick up a game of sand volleyball at Clearwater Beach. You can swim the ocean waters right off the dock. Whatever your passion, there's an activity for you to fully enjoy your stay!
