Rough neighborhood, rougher place to stay
Overall I get it, Downtown ATL is not the suburbs, but being greeted with the front window having a bullet hole was not where I wanted to stay with my 9 year old. the front porch was a little rough, but the back stairs were a nightmare. My aunt stayed with us, she is certified trainer and runs marathons, she walked around the house instead of using the stairs as the rails were barely secured to the steps. My mom is in property management and I've personally remodeled houses, so we all spend all weekend spotting and tripping over half baked repairs and literal holes in the floor covered by a rug in the bathroom. On the upside, the bullet hole in the window either originated from inside, or they did go through the trouble to fix the wall at least, we never did find the bullets final resting place so that was at least partially done well.this place served its purpose, and none of us got mugged or treated poorly, but the saving is not worth the lack of safety. I could see this being really dangerous for people who aren't sober too even inside the house.
