The back door leads to the ski run! No matter the season, Sundancer Chalet offers easy access to the action of Telluride. In winter, enjoy the brand new hot tub right on the slopes. It's just 10 steps up to the run from the back deck. During summer months you can access trails from the back yard or just down the street. A quick dial-a-ride away is the Mountain Village core with additional access to the Gondola, ski school, trails, the Telluride bike park, shopping, and outdoor dining. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home also offers a spacious outdoor patio and multiple balconies perfect for enjoying the sunny days. In winter, Sundancer Chalet is a true ski-in ski-out, Mountain Village home located directly on the Sundance ski run of the Telluride Ski Resort. Ski directly on to your sun-filled west facing deck. Grab a cocktail and watch the last skiers of the day whizz by, or just enjoy the majestic alpenglow on the San Sophia Ridge from the living room.
The home is characterized by unique mid-century modern design, brand new contemporary furnishings, and striking art from award-winning Colorado photographers. Stunning views of the San Sophia mountain range can be enjoyed throughout the house, as well as views of the Sundance ski run. Designed by acclaimed architect Arthur Erikson, this unique vacation home is the ultimate base for your Telluride adventures.

The 3,050 square foot home offers guests spacious and stylish common areas with an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The living areas boast 270 degree views of the Sundance ski run and the surrounding mountain ranges, with soaring 18 foot floor-to-ceiling windows. The home offers two separate dining areas - a formal dining area in the main living room as well as banquette dining in the large kitchen area. The chef's kitchen features a Wolf cooktop, Subzero refrigerator, dual zone wine fridge and Viking double ovens. Above the main living area there is a bonus loft area for kids' TV viewing or office zoom calls. Directly off the kitchen area, on your way out to the deck area, is a ski room with boot warmers. Right outside the ski room is locked ski storage on the outside deck. The lockable ski racks and the ski boot room could not be more convenient for skiers eager to hit the slopes. The outdoor deck also features a gas grill and seating, new hot tub summer 2024. Access the hot tub and deck via the ski room, not the sliding doors, they are not operational.
The bedrooms and powder room are located below the main living area. There are two king bedrooms, both with gas fireplaces, en suites and private balconies. The king master bedroom features a Tempur-Pedic mattress, an en suite with a steam shower and separate tub, and majestic mountain views through wall-to-wall windows. The second king bedroom also enjoys mountain views. The third and fourth smaller bedrooms adjoin with a sliding door for maintaining privacy between them. The third bedroom bedroom features two twin XL beds which can be combined to become a king if desired. The adjoining fourth bedroom has a full-over-full bunk bed. The third and fourth bedrooms share an en suite bathroom. Also on this level is the home's dedicated laundry room with a large washer and dryer.
On the lowest level of Sundancer Chalet is the main entry. This warm and welcoming entryway features one-of-a-kind flooring with hand-placed river rocks that were lovingly selected by the owner, and a mud-room area with plenty of storage. To the right of the front door is a huge, heated two car garage with polished cement finish. This home is a 3 story split-level, offering both privacy and gathering spaces.
Enjoy the convenience of complimentary dial-a-ride service to anywhere in Mountain Village. Just 5 minutes to the Market and Gondola, 7 minutes to the Village Core restaurants and shops. There is a free gondola service into the town of Telluride from the Mountain Village core.

We look forward to welcoming you in beautiful Telluride! We kindly ask all guests to adhere to the following simple rules. We try to keep our rules to the bare minimum, but please keep in mind that these rules are firm & we greatly appreciate your cooperation:
1. This is a residential area. Please refrain from disturbing neighbors with loud or late night parties. Complaints will result in us asking you to leave.
2. Absolutely no smoking in the house. This includes cigarettes & marijuana (we can smell it!). $500 fine.
3. No pets - please leave your pets at home. Guests who are found to have a pet will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund. Pets cannot be left in vehicles in parking lots. Fines begin at $500, and may be higher if damage has occurred or additional cleaning is required.
4. Check in time is 4pm & checkout time is 10am. Please do not arrive early, or leave late without clearing it with us first as it can disrupt a tight housekeeping schedule.
5. Hot tubs & Pools - Lodging In Telluride has no control over pool & hot tub closures, cleanings or maintenance issues. We cannot be held responsible for refunds for closures during your stay.
6. For stays longer than 10 days, a mid-stay clean is required for an additional fee.
Travel insurance is available to cover your vacation in the event something unexpected pops up. Please ask for details if this is something you would like to purchase. Please note, while we understand that life circumstances can impact your travel plans, we cannot be held responsible for refunds.
