Hot tub wasn’t hot enough and the jets barely worked. House was great size for big family. House is dated and Couch was old and felt dirty. It would have been nice to have cleaning supplies like bleach wipes to wipe counters and clean floors. They also only left us 3 garbage bags for 4 nights 5 days we used in 1 day so we had to buy some. Neighbor was nice and very peaceful we really enjoyed our stay!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for staying with us. We’re glad to hear the home was a great size for your family and that you enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and friendly neighbors.
We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the hot tub temperature and jets, as well as your concerns regarding the couch and the home feeling dated. That’s not the experience we want for our guests, and your comments are being shared with our team so we can address these items. We also appreciate your feedback about cleaning supplies and the number of trash bags provided — that’s helpful insight, and we’ll review our starter supply setup to improve future stays.
Thank you again for your honest feedback and for noting that you still enjoyed your stay overall. We truly appreciate it and would love the opportunity to host you again in the future. - Colton, Bennington Guest Relations

Great stay, and host even bailed my sister out when the battery was dead on checkout (and everyone else was up at Mt Bachelor!). 10 out of 10 would recommend.
The house is very clean, clean, beautifully laid out. It has everything you need. We cook a couple of fine dinners there andhad lovely hikes right from the front door

Thank you so much for being our guest, Maureen! We'll see you next time! -Erica, Guest Relationship Manager
The house was very nice and we did enjoy our stay. However therefore night the hard wired fire alarms went off through the house in the middle of the night waking everyone. We tried to get ahold of the property management who advertises 24/7 availability but the number provided was no good and was disconnected. I messaged them through the app but said it was after hours. We called “9-1-1” and the dispatch the fire department to check the house. While waiting for the fire department, our whole family including my 6 and 2 year old were wrapped up in blankets on the porch in the 30 degree weather. No cause for the fire alarms to go off was found. The fire department suggested a power spike might have triggered the wired alarms to go off. The next morning the property management did get back to us and had a tech also come out and inspect the fire alarms. The property management did offer to give us free passes to the local museum but considering the lack of sleep and the disruption and fear of not knowing what was wrong or how to proceed unable to get ahold of the property management team we felt it more appropriate for a refund for the first night. The rest of the stay was nice. The house was clean and well equipped. We utilized the bikes, games, and hot tub. I was a little surprised they did not supply any shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. The bedroom TVs were useless as they would not connect to internet and did not have any connected dvd player or Cable/Satellite.
This home was comfortable but showing its age. We had one family, two couples, and a single person staying there. The bedrooms worked fairly well and the living room worked great. The deck was really nice. The kitchen was a little tight and not particularly well supplied. We never did figure out how to use the microwave--instructions would have been helpful. We had to deal with flies because the sliding glass door in the living room did not have a screen. The fan in the master bedroom didn't work which was a problem when using shower or the toilet. We had a very nice time but felt this particular home needs to be updated and better maintained.
The property was beautiful, however there were a few minor issues and one major issue. The day of arrival we got a message that the house might not be ready until an hour after check in time. We had a rehearsal dinner, so we had to find somewhere else to get ready. By the time we got in, it was 8:30pm and the house was 87 degrees. The small window AC unit in the huge upstairs living space was off and we were there during a week long heat wave.
The Internet was so slow that it took me 35 minutes log into my VRBO account to view the amenities and I was never able to get enough to load to contact anyone. I reached out to the property managers who said that it was listed with the window unit. They said nothing about the Internet which continued to be an issue for days.
The heat made it hard to enjoy our stay (hard to sleep) though we opened up every door and window at night to help it cool off and we stayed off the wooden patios because there were loose boards. The property manager said that they'd send someone out to fix it, which ended up being after we left due to a combination of my phone service and their business hours.
We really wanted to like the house and realize that the sustained heatwave contributed to our struggles. Most of the year, I'm sure it's a lovely place to stay
