Hot Tamale (formally known as Winterfjord Lodge) is a new, luxurious duplex located on The Ridge with incredible views of Okanagan Lake and the Monashee mountains. Hot Tamale is perfect for families and ski teams and located just steps from the skiway – head out right from your front door and start your day!
This duplex is spread over four levels but has an elevator for easy access to the main and top floors.
Walk in the front door to the ground level, this is where you will find the private den/family room with a large Smart TV, Wii and games table with a modified ping pong net and paddles (perfect for kids!) and one of the bedrooms with a king bed. You’ll also find a large ski room – easy to head right out the door for first tracks.
Head up to the second floor, this is where you will find the master bedroom, bunk room, and other king bedroom. This is also where you will find the private hot tub with mountain views.
You can also head down to the basement where you will find two more bedrooms with queen beds and separate full bathroom with a massive shower! Perfect for those looking for a little more peace and quiet.
The main living area is on the top floor which is easily accessed by stairs or the elevator. With panoramic views, you can enjoy the open concept, large living room that has a beautiful gas fireplace and cozy couches. Enjoy a quiet morning with your cup of coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine. This living room also has a large, Smart TV.
The large dining area is right between the living room and kitchen and makes it perfect for a large group to gather after taking in all the adventures. Just off the dining room, you’ll also find a deck with a BBQ for you to use.
The incredible chef-grade kitchen has top of the line appliances and is the perfect spot for gathering with friends and family after a fun day on the mountain. It has everything you need for cooking those large, post-mountain dinners or hire a private chef to prepare a gourmet meal for you.

The house was spectacular, Nice comfy beds, good views. The only thing was it was too bright on the top floor and caused too much heat build up. Need blinds to cut the glare.

Views from the top floor makes this a great location to relax withfreinds and family. The selection of rooms and beds are setup perfectly and comfortable. Although the elevator can be a bit finicky, it's a great addition when moving heavy stuff. The walk into town is a bit long but there is a shuttle bus that runs reqularily that does pickup & dropoff at your door. Our group looks forward to staying here again next time we hit Silver Star
