Dream Catcher is a gorgeous, 3,200 square foot, high end home. Dream Catcher boasts one of the best locations on Silver Star Mountain. Since it is situated only 50 metres (approximately 55 yards) from Silver Star village, you are able to walk to the village in well under five minutes for all of your grocery needs, to visit the many food and drink establishments and shops. Easy access allows for ski-in and ski-out of Dream Catcher to a variety of lifts (including the new Gondola) or take a very short walk to Tube Town, the skating rink, the fitness center or the bowling alley.

The home is completely furnished with high end finishings. When you enter Dream Catcher, you are welcomed by a large foyer. Down the hall, there is a half bath, laundry and two master bedrooms with TVs (satellite and HD), and each with their own en-suite. The upper floor of Dream Catcher has a large great room with a 75 inch TV (with satellite and HD) and a marble gas fireplace, along with a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) and island with seating for four, a dining room with seating for ten, a large deck and an office. On the lower level, you will find a family room with a second gas fireplace, a large screen TV (with satellite and HD) and a wet bar with fridge. There is also a reading room with a couch, two bedrooms and two additional full bathrooms (one with an en-suite). "Lisa, I just wanted to send you a note of thanks for having us at Dream Catcher last weekend. We had a fantastic few days in your lovely chalet. A nice dump of snow Saturday made it a perfect family and friends getaway."

Guest Review: January 2018
"Hi Lisa, I wanted to let you know that we had the very best holiday and enjoyed your chalet so much!!! We are so happy that we chose to stay there. Your advertising was absolutely correct - the best location, a large comfortable chalet with everything you need to feel at home!!! After skiing, we had a hot tub and everyone was tired. So we had something to eat and then played games and sat around to visit. I did manage to x country 3 times, we bowled a couple times. One day we didn’t ski and we went on a snowmobile tour that was fantastic. All in all such a wonderful time!!"

Ski-In/Sk-Out from the Back of the Chalet:
Here is some information about the quickest way to get back to the chalet after a day of skiing.
1. Walk back up from the village.
2. Take the Silver Queen Chairlift and ski down Silver Queen. There is a groomed path (you have to across the street) that leads directly to the back of the chalet.
3. Take the Silverwoods Express Chairlift. At the top, go right and take the groomed path (Creekside) around the back of the homes on Hindle Lane and comes out right by our chalet.

Another amazing stay at Dreamcatcher!
Another wonderful stay this year at Dreamcatcher! The house is well positioned for ski-out (and a 50m walk to the back door after skiing in) and is an easy 2 min walk into the village. The house is lovely with a great functional and comfortable layout spread over 3 floors, plenty of room for two extended families staying together, fabulous views over the resort, high quality furnishings, excellent amenities, great heating and hot water. Housekeeping do a great job getting the house ready in between guests, and the owners communicate well and are super helpful. We love Dreamcatcher at SilverStar, and have already booked to come back again next ski season!

Great big house that easily sleeps two families. Close to everything!
The house location is fantastic and has loads of space with 4 bathrooms and another powder room. Lisa is incredibly responsive and very easy to communicate with. The only issues (minor) were: - that there were no basic seasonings that we could use and also happily leave additional items behind. - we could not open any windows (signs everywhere) and the thermostats were variable room to room. My room was boiling hot and my sisters was freezing cold - even after adjusting the temperatures.

Loved our stay at Dreamcatcher!
We had a wonderful holiday at Dreamcatcher at SilverStar! After 3 years of travel restrictions and having to reschedule, we were able to finally stay here and it was well worth the wait! This was our first trip to SilverStar, but we have skied BC regularly for the last 15 years (except the Covid years) having done several seasons at Whistler, Big White and Sun Peaks. SilverStar is a wonderful resort with beautiful and varied terrain (particularly when both the front and back sides of the mountain are open), the village is pretty and the locals are super friendly. Dreamcatcher is a beautiful house, well maintained and decorated to a high standard, and suited our party of 8 perfectly (2 families of adults/older teens travelling together)! We loved coming together in the large living space (with a separate living space for kids downstairs), the two master bedrooms were lovely (and the heated slabs in the ensuite bathrooms were fabulous), the kitchen is very well equipped, and the views were amazing (looking over the entire front side of the mountain resort - we loved assessing the day's weather, and looking at how many locals were coming up the mountain into the carparks each morning from the comfort and warmth of the living room!). SilverStar is a different layout compared to the other resorts we have skied and there is not a lot of true ski-in ski-out which also has quick access to the village, but Dreamcatcher's location is pretty much the best on mountain in this regard. Depending on your route, direct ski-out (taking skis off to cross one road if you don't want to ruin your bases!), a short 50m walk uphill or flat traverse to ski back in, and only 5 min walk into the village. The ski equipment room situated at the back balcony is perfect - plenty of room to take your gear and boots on and off, and store them overnight, with direct access to your ski-in ski-out each day. Lisa is the perfect host - excellent communication and super helpful over the last 3 years of planning this trip! We absolutely loved our stay here, and cannot wait to return to Dreamcatcher and SilverStar again very soon!

Wonderful Ski-in/Ski-out
Great place right on the hill and convenient location to get to everything! Well maintained and well stocked property. Comfortable beds. Excellent amenities to keep everyone busy and comfortable. Hot tub was a welcome way to end a day on the ski hill. Owners are extremely prompt in communicating and dealing with any issues that arise. Will stay again!

Why they chose this property

We love this chalet for its location. Only steps away from Silver Star Mountain Village, you can walk to town in less than five minutes. You have a perfect view of Gondola and Alpine Meadows Chairlift making any view looking out the back of the home stunning. Although the home is so close to the village, the location is very quiet, making an après-ski hottub and rest just perfect. The home is completely ski-in/ski-out. (There is a groomed cat track (path) directly at the bottom of the stairs.) The interior of the chalet is built first rate and is finished off beautifully. The colours are modern and really make you feel like you are staying in a true mountain home.
