"Eagle's Cliff" at Lake Cumberland. Relaxing Beautiful Front Porch Lake View!
Property Description:
Beautiful cabin tucked back in a peaceful quiet street with gorgeous views of Lake Cumberland. This is the perfect location to get "off the grid" and reconnect with nature. We named it Eagle's Cliff because you will occasionally see Bald Eagles soaring through the trees from the porch. Relax with the whole family in this two bedroom, one bathroom cabin. It has a fire pit and a back yard the whole family can enjoy. The cabin includes a queen bed in the master and 2 queen beds upstairs. There is also a sofa bed that makes the 4th bed that is located in the living room. There is one bathroom that has a bathtub/shower. You will be able to access the whole cabin. Property has plenty of parking/yard space to fit a RV or small boat trailer.
Location & Things to Do:
Located in the small friendly town of Nancy, Kentucky (where most strangers will wave to you), this area will give you the best feeling of being in rural America. Beautiful rolling hillside views with livestock welcome you as you drive around town. Closest public boat ramp is approximately 3.5 miles away on Ramp Road a very quick drive from the property. Roughly 15 minutes to Lee's Ford Marina. The local area is great for outdoor enthusiasts so be sure to bring your boats, jet skis, kayaks, fishing gear, etc to fully explore the opportunities.
Plenty of activities outside of being on Lake Cumberland can also be found. There is the famous Mill Springs Battlefield which features a museum, historic cemetery with a 10 stop driving tour. You will also find Pulaski County State Park nearby which boasts a variety of outdoor activities to do.
As far as dining options go, the property is about a 10 minutes drive away from the town of Nancy which features a great Coffee shop, Pizza place, authentic Mexican restaurant and an Apple farm. A 20 minute drive will take you into the city of Somerset which has a Walmart, Chick-fil-A, Lowes and a bunch of other big city stores.
All in all this is a great property in a great location that our family and your will certainly enjoy!
Other Notable Items:
No pets in the unit please. The neighbor has a few dogs and they are outside dogs. They have an invisible fence and cannot cross the driveway. They seem intimidating at first but are harmless and will stop barking after they see you.

Love this property and host was so helpful. This is our second stay there as our son specifically asked to go back after our first stay. Great view, well stocked kitchen and very quiet and relaxing stay.
We loved it so quite and peaceful. The cabin was very nice and clean. Hope to be able to get it next year . We have a family reunion every year in Somerset and just 10 miles aways.
We arrived after dark and had trouble finding the correct drive (gps told us to turn to soon). The host responded quickly to my text to assist. We woke up to a beautiful view of the lake. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Our stay was very relaxing.
Our absolute only complaint is no washer or dryer. The place is clean, nice, cozy, great location. We will stay again and recommend this place to others.
My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and we totally enjoyed every minute of it. The house was super clean and organized. We are already wanting to plan a trip back to stay here again.

What we enjoyed the most was sitting on the deck and taking in the view of Lake Cumberland. It's a quiet and cozy place on a lightly-traveled road way out in the country.
The property is a great place to stay for a getaway by the lake. The location makes it easy to get any groceries and find great restaurants. Additionally its proximity to state parks and attractions make it a quality stay.
Lastly, the house itself is cozy yet spacious enough to accommodate a great relaxing vacation in Kentucky.

Thanks for the review Seth. Your welcome back anytime.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Just what we were looking for. You do share a driveway with the neighbors and don't worry about the dogs they are trained very well
It was nice just big enough. The grill was in pretty bad shape and was kinda sketchy to use thought it was going to fall completely apart. Neighbors were nice. Overall it was worth the money.
From the moment we pulled up the driveway and opened the front door, we were very happy with this beautiful place. It is obviously the owners not only take excellent care of this property, they go above and beyond to make their guest’s stay peaceful and comfortable. We will recommend this property to anyone who appreciates a clean and peaceful environment!
Nice house as pictured. House is right on the road. Our GPS was a little off. Had good meals at The Rex Family restaurant and Reno’s. Could just see the lake through the trees. Nice deck.
Property was clean and very cute on the inside. Loved the upstairs for my husband and I and our 1 11 year old. My in laws stayed in the bedroom downstairs. The outside deck needs cob webs removed, new paint on the deck and most importantly a new grill. That grill almost caved in while cooking outside. Property came with everything needed for our long weekend.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're so glad to hear you and your family enjoyed the inside of the cabin and found it comfortable for your group. We especially appreciate your kind words about how well the cabin was stocked for your long weekend.
We also appreciate your feedback about the deck area. We're currently scheduling seasonal maintenance, including cleaning and touch-ups, and your comments help us prioritize what needs attention.
Regarding the grill—we completely understand your concern. Just to clarify, the property does not include a grill, and this is noted in our listing. The grill you found was actually left behind by a previous guest, and we’ll make sure it's removed to prevent any confusion or safety issues going forward.
Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to host you again in the future!
Warm regards,
Erin
We had a wonderful time. The property was well kept up and the neighbors we very nice. The only suggestion would be to have instructions for the tv on how to get local stations. Great place, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the feedback Janet. Will work on the tv documentation.
Perfect place for our family weekend getaway to the lake. The house was very clean and so cute. Only a short 10 minute drive to Lees Ford marina to pick up our boat. The house was super cozy and we loved it. There is no gas grill as pictured but we were able to go 5 minutes down the road to the family dollar and buy a charcoal grill. We will definitely be booking again!

Property was awesome. Stay was pleasant. Only issue was utility room was locked preventing access to washer dryer. Not a huge deal. Stay a home was awesome.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay! The laundry room is not for guest at this time. It is always locked - only for our cleaning crew. One day we hope we can open it up to our guest. :)
Unusable item’s cabinets not able to open items too high to reach no tv in main bedroom first floor
It was pleasant but cleaning person did not clean well left clothes in dresser in down stair which I just threw out. Empty cereal container under the bed down stairs.
