Good value but house was not ready for guests

This rental offered good value for the money. Unfortunately, the house was not quite ready when we arrived in the evening. A car was taking up both parking spaces, and there were dead and live cockroaches everywhere. Fortunately, we are not picky guests. We swept the dead roaches away, killed the live ones, and got on with it. All in all we were happy to have stayed there.
