The home was built in mid 1800S and has been lovingly restored. Thistle Cottage can sleep six comfortably with one king, and two queen size, two full size bathrooms, a large kitchen area, and a sofa bed available for extra guests. The grounds include a hot tub, gorgeous patio and and fire pit area, and a lovely front porch with a quiet street view.

Guest Access:
The entrance door is on the patio and is key pad access. Parking for 2 vehicles is located in front of the patio area.

The Neighborhood:
A quiet neighborhood with short walk to cafes, The Barn (for local live entertainment) and a convenient store. The lower historic district with national park information, museums, hiking, and local shops is approximately a mile away.

Our group of 4 stayed one night at Thistle Cottage as we biked through Harper’s Ferry on the C&O. We loved this house! It was clean, well-stocked, had ample space for all of us and our gear, and had a hose available to clean bikes. It was well located in a neighborhood we felt safe locking our bikes up in the yard and was walking distance to delicious food options. And Angela was very accommodating and great to deal with. Our only regret is we didn’t have more time to enjoy the property!
