Beautiful home in an ideal location to both Dexter and Ann Arbor, as well as tubing on the Huron! The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable.
Perfect place for our family’s stay in Ann Arbor! The owners were so thought with little added touches to make our stay feel like staying in our own home. Plus easy access to beautiful walking/biking trails right out the driveway. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay! This house is so comfortable and nicely equipped with everything you need. It’s a pretty drive to Ann Arbor and we loved the location - a nice quiet escape from the traffic of Ann Arbor. We had 3 couples and everyone was comfortable. Having a second living room area was really nice for the late nighters and the early risers. Great communication with the hosts. Highly recommend.

ABSOLUTELY 5 STAR STAY!!!
I love my entire stay... the host was SUPER nice, very accommodating. The property is stunning, right across the street from a small river. I wish I had reviewed the listing more thoroughly as I'd have rented a few extra days to go kayaking and enjoying the river. The inside was immaculate - super cute and inviting. We actually wanted to spend time there rather than just exploring the city and coming back to fall asleep. We spent a lot of time in the back yard around the fire pit just talking. The whole ambiance of this property was stunning. The pictures do not lie, it's GORGEOUS. Parking was also super easy! I literally have NOTHING negative to say, it was a 10/10 experience!
I was a vendor for the Ann Arbor Art Fair and found Terry’s place to be a good home base for us. It was a little farther from town than I originally wanted, but it turned out to be just fine. It was nice to have the quiet after the noise of the event and to be near the river where we could take a walk. The walking path is so nice to enjoy. The house is cute, in very good shape, updated and nicely appointed. The layout worked well for our needs. Terry was a very good communicator and got back with me quickly when I had questions. Since we were gone all day, returning late, and only ate breakfast there so I don’t know what cooking amenities are available.Since we had trouble visualizing the parking situation initially, the driveway is paved and three cars wide. As a guest, you park in a line along the right side. Or in our case, our SUV pulling a trailer. No trees to worry about when opening doors. We found a wonderful restaurant in Dexter, which is always a plus when traveling. I especially enjoyed hearing the 11PM train each evening. It’s not loud, just close enough by. We definitely found River Rock Guest House to be a gem and wished we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the kayaking and canoeing. Maybe another time.
