The house was ok, no on-suites in the home. First floor full bathroom in the middle of the home was pretty beat-up with toilet paper holder ripped off the wall (and bracket still on wall) and major marks on wall. Air conditioner did not work properly. The exterior was in rough shape - it is a beautiful lake so I would suggest to the owner to invest in a nice patio.

This home is absolutely perfect for large families or groups! The views from nearly every room were breathtaking, and we loved the beautiful interior design, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful renovations. The home was spacious, inviting, and a wonderful place to gather and spend time together.Couple little things to note; the outdoor Edison lighting shown in the listing photos was not actually there. There were no functioning lights at all making it extremely dark outside in the evenings, but I am guessing, based on the quick communication, that this has been fixed, just not during our stay. We also wanted to enjoy a fire, but there were no matches or lighters provided, and with no stores nearby, we weren't able to use the cute little fire stove on the property that night. Again, the communication was excellent and a lighter showed up the next morning! My point is, that event with super minor issues, they were "on it" without question. Overall, this is a beautiful property with so much to offer! Communication is excellent and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We truly enjoyed the home and will hopefully stay again.

Everything was as stated in the description. Owners were great to deal with. Hot tub was a wonderful addition as well as kayaks, etc. Kitchen had all necessary items to prepare meals. Experience here was terrific with family of 6 adults and 3 grandchildren 11, 8 & 6. Water was wonderful to play/swim in and dock was great for the pontoon boat we rented.

Lakeside Getaway

We stayed one week. We enjoyed the outdoors everyday. The water was wonderful, whether it was Crystal Lake or Lake Michigan. The housing accommodations were perfect for our group. We really enjoyed spending time on the lake during the day and sitting around the campfire at night. We had a great time, thanks!

I can't say enough how wonderful this property is. It includes a beautiful, new, well-stocked kitchen, clean & beautifully decorated rooms, and basically anything you could need for a fun vacation. The views are breathtaking, and falling asleep to the relaxing sound of the waves was amazing. Highly recommend!!!

Crystal Lake Stay

Overall great stay and Jas and Sue were friendly and helpful! Only feedback would be to get blackout curtains on the bedroom windows as the window coverings didn't work. Otherwise it was a great experience - thank you Jas and Sue!

The interior was exquisitely done (10/10). Loves all the little details that made it feel like a home, not just a rental. Landscaping was unfortunately incomplete and overgrown with weeds. As I understand the local weather has limited getting this done, but I believe this is at least the second summer it has been available to rent.

Wonderful family vacation

We were right on Crystal Lake, with views of the water from practically every room. Everyone in our group found their rooms to be quite comfortable. Communication with the hosts was always prompt and the house was well supplied with maintenance materials to keep everything in order. To ice the cake, we had the pleasant surprise of finding a hot tub installed on the property midweek, just as the weather was showing that early September nip. All in all, a great week in a great area.

Beautiful Views

The house is beautiful with a view of the lake from many rooms. My family enjoyed the hot tub and the kayaks. Big kitchen and gathering space. We enjoyed our time there. There isn’t a consistent sandy beach. Storms take the sand away. That might not concern you if you don’t have little kids. It’s rocky, so make sure to bring your water shoes. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately and I really appreciated that.

Everything and more

This place is a gem. I have spent my summers in this area since I was a small boy, but I had never stayed on the north shore of Crystal. Beautifull house and property with sunsets as a bonus. We had an issue with the heater as the days started to get colder and the management was on top things and dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently. Great living space for our family of 5. The views on the lake changed throughout the day - it was a great place to watch the season change. We loved it!
