The location was nice and the house was very cozy and had everything we needed. My kids loved the easy access to the beach and the private pool.

Honeymoon & Birthday

We had a wonderful time visiting Samana and surrounding areas to celebrate recently getting married and an upcoming milestone bday for my husband. We loved the location and the house! The host was very responsive and we communicated for over a month on details leading up to the trip. She even helped me arrange a cake delivery as a surprise for my hubby. There is a private beach with a tiki bar and karaoke we also got to enjoy! Location is close to a ton of beautiful spots or enjoyable without even leaving the neighborhood. We will be back!

We had an amazing time! Katy our host was fabulous. She answered many questions for us both before our trip & while we were there. She arranged a private tour guide & advised us on tours. She arranged a private dinner at our house & a box of Dominican cigars for my future son-in-law’s birthday. The small private pool was also a real treat. I will point out that we wanted a vacation in the DR & not a luxury all inclusive retreat. The condo was not luxurious but it was spotless & very comfortable with everything you would need. The community was gated & had security so we felt very safe. The community was older but in the midst of refurbishment. If you want more of an immersive experience with the Dominican culture I highly recommend Katy’s Condo!

Our stay in Samaná was wonderful! Katy and Robin were exceptional hosts—always responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were quick to answer any questions. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a stress-free, enjoyable experience in Samaná!
