This place is accurately named “Oasis of the North”. The neighborhood is ok, no trouble with any of the neighbors. This is in the hood, but it felt very safe. My group was here for a swim meet in North Natomas.The accommodations inside are very modern. Parking was very easy. I was able to three-point turn my suv in the driveway without hitting the tree or other neighbor’s ground light. The mornings felt wonderful, temperature-wise; cool and slight breeze. The summer heat picks up starting around 2pm, and then starts to cool down around 7-8pm. The a/c units helped immensely! The bedroom in the back cooled down much faster than the one nearest the driveway. Make sure there’s enough water in the a/c units in the bedroom nearest the driveway.Everything was five stars for me, except for one slight issue. The a/c fan in one of the bedrooms was very dusty. I wiped it with one of the mini towels provided in the bathroom. My friend found a single hot Cheeto by her bed. Other than those, everything was clean and great.The kitchen is mostly well stocked with spices and condiments. Not everything is there, but it allowed me to get creative to use what was available to make what I wanted. So overall, great experience! Especially when factoring in the overnight prices of the hotels and this house were nearly the same, this was a great deal with very few issues.

The host was very responsive. Upon the initial arrival, there were subjects outside that inspired some trepidation, which made me think this property isn’t inviting, and it isn’t. However, my 9 year old and I (52) year old male didn’t experience any issues other than slight discomfort to what seem to be a boarding house adjacent to the property. I think this property is suitable for a young single person or young couple, with no kids, and those whom have the ability to practice situational awareness. The property is really nice on the inside.
