Very nicely appointed with a contemporary decor, a large dining room, a gourmet kitchen and a large hot tub it is perfect for that family and friends gathering. There is a nice deck for enjoying the mountain peak views and a three car garage and expansive driveway for plenty of off street parking. The house is on a nice knoll above the street, providing additional privacy.

Perfect house for a family reunion!

We stayed at this spacious house for our family reunion, and there was plenty of room for everyone! It's the perfect place for children because there's a large, fully stocked toy room that kept all the kids happy. Highly recommend!

Great house but the management company failed to repair hot tub

We have rented this house for many years. It has always been great.But the management company told us they would repair the hot tub in a couple of days. Unfortunately, they never did.

Spacious house

Spacious house for a large group of all ages. Has a room full of toys for the younger ones and 3 TVs throughout the house to entertain. Communication with John was great. Ample space in the kitchen to cook and dining area had a very large table to accommodate.

Girl’s getaway

Had a great time at this home. The location is perfect. The cleanliness could have been a little better. The coffee pot had old grounds that had mold in it and the pot didn’t work but we found another one and made it work. Some of the dishes were dirty but other than that it was great.

very nice home we truly enjoyed the space ,and how well maintained the house is .the only problem that was encountered was the draw blinds ,in the living room the blinds could only angle 1 side up ,and the master bedroom would only go down not up. but to tell you quite honestly ,whoever rents this house will love it !for a large family there was so much room the comfort and relaxation was fantastic and yes if its available next year we definitely would love to be able to do this again.

Spacious, great location, not properly cleaned

Stayed here with family and friends. Great location and the house had plenty of room to spread out and even a playroom for the kids. Only complaints are that the house was not all that clean and the linens were pretty sparce. Floors were dirty and left our feet black, there were food bits left on the stairs and kitchen windowsill. The exhaust fan on the stove has a trap that was so caked with oil and food that we had to clean it in order for it to work. There was only one kitchen towel, no beach towels, and one bath towel per person. Not a big deal on the linens, but I would have prepared differently had I known. Lastly, the toilet seats had a sanitary paper strap around them, indicating they were clean, but there was hair and urine on at least two of the toilets when we got there. All in all, great house, but might want to look at a different cleaning company.

Nice House, lousy Neighbor

The house is nice, somewhat outdated, need to update the old carpets, otherwise it is nice. The only issue we had was that on Saturday at 3:00 pm, we got a call from the property management company, saying that we were too loud, a group of us were playing games and music on the front deck, because they couldn’t play in the back deck, due to snow & ice that feel overnight and it blocked the sliding door, well a neighbor had called it in and then someone said out loud that a neighbor had called in to complain and said some explicit words and that neighbor called again and said that they were going to call the sheriff to kick us out. That brought a damper on to the fun everyone was having. The worse part about it all was it was at 3 pm not 9 pm, which is when the Quiet Time is suppose to be. Beware of the Karen in that neighborhood. They sit in the front of the living room looking to see who & what is going on across the street.

This property is perfect for multiple families. This is the 2nd year in a row that we've rented this property and we'll rent it again. Plenty of room, rooms are seperated on different levels so noise is at a minimum. Overall, very nice house.

Spacious, comfortable house for a family and friends

Nice large house as advertised. Our family went up there for a wedding and was in need of a large space for wedding preparations and this place fit the bill. It was more than spacious enough for our needs. As in previous reviews, much of the furniture, appliances and extra blankets are outdated. But the house was clean and comfortable. Stairs to the garage and the front door is rather steep and should be a consideration if you have elderly family members joining you. There is no electric vehicle charging unit installed in the garage, but there is a Nema 14-50 receptacle so you will need to bring your own charging unit if you wish to make use of this amenity. Both John and the management company were quick to answer any questions and clear instructions were given for an easy check in and check out.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and the large dining room was great in accommodating our Thanksgiving dinner. Heater worked great and the house stayed very well insulated. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. There was a hodgepodge of cooking utensils and pots, pans, and various kitchen items. Thankfully we brought some of our own items to supplement. The house is extremely dated. It is clear the house has not had any renovations or upgrades in a while. Driveway is narrow and parking can be tricky with more than 2 vehicles. We parked our daughter’s car in the garage as she didn’t need it for the duration of our stay.

I fell in love with Lake Tahoe while I was in undergrad at UC Davis. I am an avid skier and outdoors person.

During the winter I love to ski, snowmobile or snow shoe hike in Lake Tahoe.

During the summer I like to hike, mountain bike or boat at the lake.

We currently live in a big city, so it is nice to get away from it all- enjoy the quiet, see the stars and breathe the fresh mountain air.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I went to UC Davis for undergrad. We are both avid skiers, so we would often head up to Tahoe for the day or weekend during the winter. In fact, during winter quarters I often took 8am classes so I had my afternoons free to hit the slopes.

As a result, it was always a dream of ours to have a vacation home in the area. Our dream came true in 2006 and we have enjoyed the house ever since.

Our families have also had a great time at the house. We have spent many holidays at the house including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Fourth of July.

We hope that you will also enjoy our house and have fond family memories of your stay in Lake Tahoe.
