As you mentioned, your original vacation plans were disrupted by the hurricane. What you may not have realized is that you booked with us on the very day that same hurricane significantly impacted our area, thousands of guests, and many of our employees. While the sunshine returned quickly, normal operations did not! Our team was busy accounting for evacuated guests, assessing storm damage, inspecting properties for safety and utilities, and determining which HOAs would even permit arrivals. Our usual automated guest communications were suspended while we manually coordinated evacuations, inspections, and arrival instructions. We appreciate your patience during such extraordinary circumstances. Regarding the painting, those projects are coordinated by the HOA. With roofs damaged, windows blown out, and pools filled with storm debris throughout the area, we suspect routine painting notices weren't at the top of anyone's post-hurricane checklist! That said, returning to an unsecured condo is concerning, and we understand your frustration. We're glad Gulf Shores fared better than many neighboring communities and that you were able to enjoy your vacation while so many others were still picking up the pieces. We'd welcome you back for another beach getaway—perhaps with a little less hurricane excitement next time!

Regarding the bedding and toiletries, we do provide a starter pack as part of our standard offerings, and we also advise guests to bring additional supplies for their convenience. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Regarding the room change and compensation, we take guest satisfaction seriously, and I'm glad to hear that we were able to provide a refund of over $600.
