Our Lovely home is in Pleasant Bay, an area of extraordinary natural resources and beauty. It encompasses two main basins, numerous embayments and coves, and three tidal rivers.

Enjoy this expansive home close to Pleasant Bay! Find the large tiled entry room as you walk into the house; it's perfect for kicking off your flip-flops and keeping all your beach gear in one place! The unique layout of this home spreads the sleeping quarters out, creating an entertainment space very easily separated from resting guests. Find two bedrooms (one with a queen and TV, one with two twins) and a full bath with a gorgeous claw foot tub behind a closable door adjacent to the entryway. A door off the hall leads to the outdoor deck and in-ground backyard pool. The grand opening from the foyer flows into the large kitchen featuring a stainless gas stove with an accompanying hood. Adjacent to the kitchen lies a dining room with a beautiful wood table with seating for family reunions, a half bathroom, the living room with TV, and a den with a TV and twin day bed for additional sleeping quarters or a simple sitting room. On the second floor, you will find two primary bedrooms with queen beds and en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers.

Girls getaway

The house had plenty of space for the four of us and fit our needs for the weekend. Some of the living room furniture was outdated but usable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Good location to explore the area and local restaurants.

Exactly What We Wanted

We needed a place spacious enough for 10 adults to sleep and 12 adults to eat together, that was close to our family matriarch's home, and was dog-friendly. This house checked all those boxes. The house was slightly dated but it was clean, comfortable, functional, and a very good value.

Harwich Holiday Retreat

We were a group of nine adults, extended family and friends. Our mission was to have Thanksgiving together, and this property served all our needs wonderfully. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out in the bedrooms. Towels were also abundant. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils and basic cooking supplies like oils and spices. With three chefs working at once, there was plenty of counter space for all. The dining room table seated all nine of us easily. Since it was November, we didn't utilize the deck or pool but it looked like a beautiful area to relax after a day at the beach. Overall, we were very impressed with this house. The owners were very prompt to answer any questions we had. We would definitely love to stay here again!
