My name is Julianna Marcarelli. I am from just outside Los Angeles and am currently studying architecture at Savannah College of Art and Design. I grew up in a big family, and we always had people over. My mom is definitely the "hostess with the mostess," and it was she who inspired me to become a host. It is my greatest honor to serve others. My greatest desire is to provide a fabulous experience so that my guests will make memories that will last a lifetime.
Why they chose this property
There are too many things that I love about Savannah. At first, it was the southern hospitality, hanging Spanish moss, and enchanting squares that enticed me too, Savannah. But as I got settled, I began to explore the great cuisine, the breath-taking architecture, and the vast history that is steeped in Savannah culture. And the art—I am continually inspired by all the art in the city!
What makes this property unique
The Darling on Duffy provides its guests with a historic experience with all the modern amenities we so love. Built in 1900, this town house has an elegance and charm about it, and the renovations on the interior perfectly modernize the space while still maintaining the character we all so love in historic Savannah. This home is located in the Victorian District, only 2 blocks from Forsyth Park, making it right in the center of everything. It will leave its guests saying, "That place was simply darling."
