A welcome addition to the Victorian District, Howard Grande is a multilevel, three-bedroom town home just a stone's throw away from the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park.

Park your car in the private garage and step up into the contemporary living quarters of your dreams. The first level hosts a private, garden apartment for two - complete with a full bath and separate entry from the street. On the second level you enter the two-story main home. With high ceilings and an open floor plan, this home is ideal for family gatherings and weekend getaways with close friends. Take advantage of the granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and cook a full meal for you and your guests, or, step onto the cobblestone pavement and walk a short distance to some of Savannah's most renowned restaurants and cafes.

The upstairs hosts two bedrooms, each with en suite baths. The primary bedroom has a King size bed, and the guest room has a Queen. A laundry room with stacking washer and dryer in the main home makes extended stays ideal.

Wonderful location

We spent a long weekend in Savannah with friends. This was a fabulous location for walking everywhere. We also appreciated the separate space for each couple with their own bedrooms and bathrooms.

It was clean, in a great location, & was very well put together. My only suggestion is to have a more comfortable couch in the living room, but that is more my own preference than a conplaint. I would stay here again in the future & recommend it to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Garage was very very helpful for parking and is a plus. Was a nice home and great for our family trip. We would stay here again. Needs more towels (or at least more laundry supplies if we need to wash our own). Kitchen was nice and pretty well stocked but needs towels (there was one that could have been a large dish rag). Bedrooms were stuffy if you don't leave the door cracked for AC, but there are ceiling fans which help - otherwise very comfortable. The AC was very good for the rest of the home. Bedrooms had comfortable beds and good water pressure. We also had the Garden Unit, which was a bit musty at first, likely caused by pipe leaking in garage. I would recommend this property. Only interacted with property management one time by phone just after booking - mid-friendliness/customer service, but the check in and out was easy and the instructions clear. I would rent from them again.

Great Location on Forsyth Park

Newer construction with a great location. Three stories so you better like stairs. Private garage which is nice in an area where there are some sketchy people at night, although I barely could get the midsize SUV we had in the garage because a scooter and sidecar takes up one side and a washer and dryer (I assume for the auxiliary guest unit downstairs) takes up the other. I had to angle the SUV slightly to be able to open the hatch in the garage. Note that the townhouse units are behind a gate for the parking area, which DOES NOT automatically open from the exit side. So we packed up to leave, I drove out of the garage and shut the garage door, the gate stayed shut, we got back out, went back into the property, found the remote, used it to open the gate, drove out, then parked on the street to re-enter the property and shut the doors and gate and return the remotes. Sheesh! I gave this 5 Stars BUT I may begin dropping these otherwise nice places to 4 Stars because, after staying in dozens of VRBOs over many years, I can instantly tell what owner/manager has been to the "Optimize Your Profits" seminars. Cheap toilet paper, no Kleenex boxes, no condiments, aluminum foil, saran wrap, welcome basket, or extras like we used to see (No, COVID is not a reason, just an excuse to be cheap). Little single use box of laundry detergent. Two little capsules of dishwasher liquid. We users need to start pushing back on this stuff for the rates and cleaning fees being charged.

The others had to find street parking which can be challenging in the area! This unit had 2 bedrooms upstairs and the basement bedroom on the garage level. All had their own bathroom. The kitchen had been updated. For folks that can’t do a lot of stairs, it may not work, but it was fine for us! We did have to drive to eating places as there weren’t any good close options.

Thanksgiving Stay

We love the location because of the quiet neighborhood and walking in & around the park. Other reasons are large bedrooms with private baths, a half bath in living area but especially a large kitchen for making our homemade thanksgiving dinner. We appreciated the new baking items but would have liked large drinking glasses. It’s a perfect fit for my family! Last year when we arrived the house smelled fresh & looked clean. This year it was clean but didn’t smell fresh. The floors needed a good cleaning because no matter which room we were in our feet &/or socks were black. I was also disappointed with the privacy gate that was broken and didn’t close. I never saw a repairman even after I was told someone would come to look at it later in the day. We are definitely coming back to Savannah next year but might be looking for a different house. Disappointed!!

You are across from Forsythe park and in a wonderful spot. Be prepared for a lot of steps inside the house. There is a winding stairwell from the garage to the kitchen then another winding staircase from the living area to the bedrooms. Otherwise it was perfect.
