Great location

Overall this was a great property, location is just a short walk to the beach, about 4 houses down for the HOA bridge. We had hardly any traffic from cars. House is huge, with plenty of space for everyone. It was clean with only small amount of damage from the previous occupants which obvious is outside the owners control but cleaning staff documented everything and informed us on our arrival. What I did not like is the lack of communication from owners on what is effectively bad advertising. First off its listed as having a gas grill, it wasnt until I contacted the owners about if I needed to bring gas that they politely informed me that it doesnt work property and that it would be a charcoal grill. Fine, not the worst deal. On arrival while checking out the property, notice that the Hot Tub wasn't operational. About the time that we find the breaker is in the off position we are told by cleaning staff that in the 4 months its been there it doesn’t work as there is a small issue of possibly being electrocuted. She reached out to owners/property management on our behalf but no one contacted us prior/during/after to apologize or anything as you do believe you are getting what is advertised.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and giving us a detailed review of the experience. We would like to provide more information and context. The BBQ grill - the harsh salt air near the beach was continually causing issues with the BBQ equipment requiring repeated repairs and interrupted guest use. We initiated the switch to the park style charcoal grill 7 days prior to the guest arrival. We sincerely regret the disappointment experienced due to this change. The guest inquiry came just as we were messaging all scheduled guests regarding this change. The Hot Tub - Our Brand New Bull Frog hot tub has been working flawlessly since it’s installation earlier this year. Our electrician recommended that we improve our electrical housing to better protect it from the environment. This installation required us to take it offline and unfortunately we were not notified of that. We sincerely regret that this amenity was not available to our guest and have put in place better communication protocols with our staff. At no time were any of our guests at risk of being electrocuted. It is unfortunate that our guest overheard a conversation with our staff that gave this impression. We are continually seeking ways to improve our guest experiences and are very grateful for this feedback. Thank you!

Great Family Weekend

This is an amazing house. Easy check in and out. We had a family of 8 adults, 7 kids (8-16 y/o) and a 4 month old. Plenty of room to move around and not feel you are on top of each other. The area under the house is great for parking (we had 4 cars), just hanging out, corn hole, ping pong, plenty of picnic tables and two porch swings. We spent each night hanging out and playing games with the kids. Just a few steps up to the house (no more than expected for this area). You walk onto a large porch area with plenty of seating to hang out here, we spent our mornings here! Even though you are technically on the second row of house there is still a great view of the ocean. The dining and kitchen area is huge. Plenty of counter space to prep and cook, two ovens, two full refrigerators were a blessing! The living area is plenty big and with it being an open floor plane the whole family could spread out and spend time together. There is two washers and two dryers which comes in handy. The rooms are plenty spacious enough to move around. Plenty of bathrooms well stocked with towels and even plenty of beach towels to use. The tankless hot water heater is wonderful when you have that many people showering! Loved the outdoor shower downstairs so the kids were not tracking sand up to the house. We were more than satisfied with this house, it had all the things! The location of the house is great. We rented a golf cart (highly recommend) to get to and from the beach!!

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Upon arrival, the home was beautiful, large and easily accommodated our family of 8. The views are nice and the A/C worked great. It is a short walk to the beach entrance. The host was generous and let us check in early. There are about 100 steps to get up to the home, so it was disheartening hiking all our stuff up there while walking past a locked elevator. The cleaners are terrible, the worst I’ve seen. Other than hitting start on the dishwasher and Roomba then making the beds, I’m not sure what they do. The hot tub was a murky brown with a discarded filter laying in the grass. A hose was left stretched out across the stairs to the home. They don’t sweep the home, only use a semi functional Roomba, there was food and trash lining the entire kitchen floor. The cleaners spilled bleach on the deck that dripped down to the bench swings below, one of our family members sat in it and ruined their new shorts. There were bleach palm prints on the linens and we had to scape gum off the dining room floor. It was just a complete disaster. The cleaner’s supervisor had to come change out the batteries on the door lock, I think it would be faster to name the drugs she wasn’t on. We went Memorial week. The beach was absolutely disgusting from the holiday. They said they clean it every Tuesday because nobody gives a crap and leaves their trash, broken glass bottles and food on the beach, every day! Tawny- we appreciate the feedback. We should remind you that because we allowed you early access, you were there before our cleaner had a chance to finish her job. Most of the things you mentioned I’m sure would not have happened or even been visible to a guest arriving at the regular 4pm check in time. I will say that was our mistake to allow early entry, we should not have agreed to that, we were trying to accommodate you. We have 12 steps up to our top deck, not 100 and we do not have an elevator, we have a cargo lift. They are not the same thing. We do not allow guest access to the cargo lift for safety reasons. It is not enclosed and not designed to carry people. There is also no insurance policy that would cover guest use of that amenity, protecting our guests and our business in the event there was an accident. We are sorry you had a disappointing experience. We strive 100% to accommodate all our guests needs and do our best to provide them with a great stay in our home

Our property is the perfect combination of beach front and peaceful. We're barely back from the sand, so it feels like you're right there. But... we're at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, so it's the best of both worlds. You can enjoy the views, access is very close, and you don't have the noise of the crowds or the cars driving by onto the beach. Perfect!!
You'll find beautiful accommodations inside with amazing views from the main living area and our 4 king suites with bathrooms allow everyone to have their own peaceful space.
Our kitchen is loaded with amenities for cooking. We have everything you need to really cook and serve for a large crowd, think Thanksgiving and large family events. And if you prefer outdoor dining, our custom-built outdoor kitchen is at your service.
