About this property
Casa de Piñon - Tranquil mountain retreat
Casa de Piñon is a tranquil mountain retreat with five bedrooms and three baths tucked in the Del Norte Mountains. Enjoy amazing views and hiking on the 199 acres and beautiful home with over 3200 square feet. Wildlife abounds around this property and catching a glimpse of elk, mule deer, and javelina would not be uncommon. There is ample space indoors and out for this to be an amazing mountain retreat for your group.
There are three bedrooms downstairs, each with a king bed as well as two bathrooms and two living areas. Upstairs features two more bedrooms, a loft area, a bath and a sundeck with amazing views. The home is adobe with bricks being built onsite by retired adobe building expert Steve Belardo of Rainbow Adobe. A large outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying the views of the Del Norte Mountains or the dark skies of Far West Texas.
Guests of Casa de Piñon have access to the entire home and the trails around the property. There is guest home, Casa del Norte, that is also available as a rental about a quarter of a mile down the road, but not in the line of sight of the main home. Guests of both homes will have complete privacy.
Contact us to rent both locations. Please steer clear of the barn while at the barn while on the property. It is currently not safe to be in or around.
We highly encourage you to hike up the rock garden and enjoy the sunset during your stay.
*NOTICE - There will be a bit of construction going on in the small casita behind the home. These workers will not be coming inside the home and it should not interfere with a guest's time at Casa de Piñon.
NO events, NO pets, NO Smoking.
Hunting or harvesting anything from the property is prohibited
HIking and ATVs are allowed at your own risk.
Please stay away from the barn for safety reasons.
