Extremely comfortable apartment with plenty of amenities, and in walking distance to some great spots! We would love to come back next time we’re in Seattle. Thank you!!
Super place to stay while exploring Seattle. Great location to walk and explore (Fainting Goat gelato really yummy) and was a quick drive to get to other Seattle locations. Apartment was clean, comfortable, bed was super comfy! Will definitely look to stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality!

Came to Seattle to celebrate my birthday. We really enjoyed our stay here. Walking distance from everything you need. The brochures and pamphlets were helpful. Would love to come back.

Clean and cosy, wonderfully comfy bed. Great neighborhood and Garnett, the host, was as nice as could be. As she suggested, I stopped at the grocery store to pick up basics and it made all the world of difference! Loved it and would stay again if I ever return to Seattle!

Great small 1 br apartment in Wallingford. You don’t need a car here. The 62 bus will take you to near Pikes Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, Pioneer Square, Green Lake and more! We didn’t really cook in the apartment, mostly ate breakfast and some lunches there, but there were some useful staples there. Check in and check out we’re both very easy. There’s lots of restaurants & a grocery store nearby on 45th St. Hope to return in the next few years! Thanks!

This is a gem of a little place to stay in Wallingford. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities for an enjoyable stay are provided. The host has done a great job outfitting the apartment. One note - the bathroom is not really suitable for very tall people. There is a step up to the toilet but the ceiling is no higher. Same with the shower. My son is 6’2” and just managed in the shower. There is also a step up into the bathroom. So consider if you have any mobility limitations to avoid being frustrated. All in all we are very happy to stay here and will be back!

Thank you for your review. I do make note in the information about the bathroom ceiling height and 'throne' and good to have it noted in a review. Thank you.

Great location in a beautiful and very walkable neighborhood, with a profusion of flowering plants and trees on every street. We loved being able to walk to the grocery store and to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Some of our favorites were breakfast at Julia's, lunch at Stone Way Cafe, baked goods from Sea Wolf, and the hand crafted donuts from DOCE Donut Company (be sure to try the Tres Leche: unbelievable!). Our accommodations were perfect for relaxing and it was a great spot for gathering with our daughter, who was living nearby. We had everything we could possibly need, and the king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. I would love to stay here again the next time I am in Seattle.

We really enjoyed our visit to Seattle staying here. Our son and his wife live a few blocks away. We walked to Fremont for the day (but we like to walk). Really great quiet neighborhood. Neighborhood is a little busy before and after school on school days. Pretty easy to find parking during day in the area. We plan on staying again in future. Thanks again Garnett, nice to meet you.

I live in the main part of this house - renting out the two separate apartments. I enjoy meeting new people and take great pleasure in being able to share this part of the country with others. There's so much to do here you'll have to come back time and time again to see it all.
Check out my other property, same location - 352393.
Why they chose this property
I bought my house in 1987. Once I toured this neighborhood, I knew it was for me. The downstairs apartment was part of the house when I moved in - and has provided opportunity for 'sharing the wealth' all these years. It was fully remodeled approximately 6 years ago to my specifications; a lovely space.
What makes this property unique
You'll be able to look out the back kitchen window at the lovely garden, enjoy the planter boxes that surround the window, enjoy a quiet and peaceful sleep in the bedroom or living room, enjoy the bright sun, walk to the park across the street. If the day is warm, open the front door and let day in - or go outside and sit in the patio area, surrounded by red raspberries, flowers and growing vegetables - meet the neighbors walking the area.
