This property is meticulously maintained professionally managed and very well appointed. From having an amenities gift upon arrival, to bandaids in the bathroom. Thank you to the wonderful hosts of the property, and looking forward to staying again soon!
We had really been looking forward to this stay and it exceeded all our expectations. It is so well equipped and presents itself beautifully . The location is great and lends itself to all modes of transport but my favourite was the short walk to the Quay and ferry to downtownThe nighttime view across the water is incredible. Hard to imagine how our experience could have been any better
This beautiful floating house was equipped with all amenities that a family would need. The views were spectacular, it was close to food, entertainment, parks, coffee. We are already planning the next vaca!! The host was amazing and very communicative, we appreciated our stay and had a great time.
We had a great stay at the Sailors View. The bedrooms were spacious and the view was amazing. We saw seals every morning and enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed and the parking was easy (about 25 dollars a day).We would definitely come back!
I booked the houseboat for my adult family of 5 and they were all incredibly impressed with the space. The views were incredible and our host was super responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!
We had a great stay at Sailor's View for US Thanksgiving. The views were great, location prefect for exploring North Van and getting in to the City on the SeaBus. The place was very clean and everything worked as expected, and the Kitchen was well set up for cooking our Thanksgiving meal. Dave was very responsive with requests. Would highly recommend Sailor's View again.
The view of Vancouver from Sailers View is absolutely incredible. Walk down a beautiful bike path to the Seabus and you are in Gastown in just 15 minutes, so easy and Seabus is cheap trans.
Beautiful home, great host. Literally thought of everything you might need. Great area with lots of good restaurants and bars and just a short ferry ride to downtown Vancouver. Would 100% recommend.

Amazing Stay!
Fantastic, beautiful floating home! Relaxing views of all the boats in the marina from the back deck. The bedrooms are spacious and the décor throughout is perfect! Soooo much better than staying in any hotel! The home is just a few minutes walk from the SeaBus and the restaurants, grocery and other stores surrounding it. The SeaBus and public transportation access make Dave’s floating home the ideal location for exploring all of Vancouver’s sights without a car.
We were thrilled with our stay at Sailor's View. The location and view are truly amazing. The house is well maintained, very comfortable and the amenities are excellent. Dave quickly responded to any questions and check-in/out was a breeze. We used the sea bus several times to quickly get to downtown Vancouver (15 mins) and the terminal is only about a 5 min walk from the house. There are lots of great restaurants, coffee houses, unique stores, bars and groceries within walking distance too. Highlights from our trip included a family of otters on the nearby dock one morning, watching the sunset with the gas fire pit on, and a sea plane day trip to Victoria on Vancouver Island (not cheap but a bucket list item!)
At Sailor's View, guests will find a lovely home away from home! Dave provided excellent photos and videos and the binder manual to guide us with helpful information that we needed to park, access the float home, and to enjoy the neighborhood. The home is well supplied throughout and we all appreciated that we didn't have to worry about a thing while staying at Sailor's View. The view of Vancouver's skyline was stunning in the evening and morning light! Dave was so helpful making sure we were settled and answered questions we had about the indoor fireplace! When we arrived at our next destination (Whistler) my friends and I kept remarking that if only we had Dave as our host we knew our questions would be answered! I highly recommend Sailor's View as a clean, comfortable, and special vacation rental!
The floating home was everything we expected and more. The beds were super comfortable. The home is well decorated and it was a very relaxing setting for our family and extended family who came to visit and enjoy the waterfront views. We loved the pair of sea lions that came most mornings to fish and play in front of the home. Though it rained quite a bit for our extended visit, the location was perfect for quick trips by sea bus over to Vancouver. We also enjoyed many restaurants and beer breweries in the area, and our hikes all around North Vancouver. This is a well recommended place to stay and we're very pleased to also add our 5 stars too. Thank you. P.s. enjoyed their coffee!!!!
Every aspect of our stay on Sailor's View exceeded our expectations. The home is beautiful, location perfect for easy access to Vancouver center (Gastown) by Seabus, the view amazing of the marina and town, beds super comfy, home immaculately clean. Dave was easy to contact and helpful. There were four seniors sharing the houseboat and found it roomy, especially since we could enjoy the beautiful deck. The kitchen was well-stocked and supplied so we took advantage of the local grocery shop for basic supplies to "eat in" for breakfast and some dinners though the restaurants nearby are variable from high end to moderately priced and of good quality. We could not have asked for a more restorative holiday-happy for the peace and quiet of N. Vancouver and the convenience of easy access to town. We paid a bit more for this luxury than usual but it was well worth it.
A Hidden Gem -So thrilled to stay at this amazing floating home. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful marina, with breathtaking views of the downtown Vancouver skyline. Location is idyllic, serene and picture postcard perfect, making every moment memorable. Sailor’s View is simply incredible and unique. Beautifully designed and spacious, it radiates charm and thoughtful luxury. Every detail, from the stylish interior decor to high-end appliances, has clearly been curated with love and care. Bathed in natural light from high-beamed ceilings and unique features, makes the experience truly remarkable. The balcony quickly became a favourite spot, we spent many hours enjoying still waters, gentle breezes, and cozy fire table. Starting each day with soothing sounds of the water and ending with jaw-dropping sunsets over the skyline was a privilege. A vibrant waterfront neighbourhood with a lovely selection of shops and restaurants, is just a short walk away. And thanks to the nearby SeaBus, downtown Vancouver is easily accessible. The host, Dave, went above and beyond. From his warm welcome and thoughtful gift to his comprehensive guidebook and regular check-ins, we felt truly cared for. We were completely overjoyed, this floating home exceeded our already high expectations. Perfect setting to make lasting family memories, without a doubt, it has become our favourite place we’ve ever stayed. We can’t wait to return and would wholeheartedly recommend this incredible experience to everyone.
