lovely condo, great location

This 2 bedroom house is beautiful. Right on the course and easy to get to lots of different area attractions. Very clean and the host couldn't have been easier to work with. The decor inside is nice, and lots of little things to make it feel like home - grill, patio furniture, kitchen stocked with essentials and pots and pans, washer/dryer, etc. I'd definitely recommend it!

Stayed for one month. Property was well stocked with linens, cooking supplies, telecommunications. If you bring your favorite cooking pans, cooktop is induction only. Location was perfect for our plans, and the view exceptional. Host communication was timely and respectful, resolving the issues timely. I would return to this property.

Outdated unit with poor plumbing, dirty silverware and glassware, cockroaches found throughout the house on a daily basis, television issues. Highlight of my stay was having deputy sheriff’s pounding on the door one early Sunday morning investigating a domestic dispute taking place in the unit next door. The wrong address was reported and I was almost arrested…Good Times!

Great location and comfort

The location and facilities were great, being just 20 yards from the pool and looking out at the golf course was great. The front of the home gets a lot of road noise but you can't hear it inside of outside near the golf course. The 4 stars are because the patio furniture was very dirty and not well maintained. We did not get our code to the door until well after check in time.

Overnight stay only. Decent place, could use a better cleaning. Outdoor furniture has not been cleaned or even cushions moved in a while. Sliding door track full of debris, indicating that cleaning in between visits is a quick once over. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is nice. I’ve dispenser having issues if I recall. Served its purpose but would probably stay at a hotel next time for a third of the cost.

Great location with the patio facing south so the afternoon sun wasn’t too hot on the patio. On the golf course and close to the pool. Traci was very responsive and accommodating.

Great first experience.

Our first time escaping a Midwest winter and it was great. Communication prior to arrival was complete. Condo was clean, spacious, stocked with all the necessities and just as pictured on line. The location was accessible and quiet and away from all the activity of the Palm Springs area. Only 2 issues. One was cable TV problem that Traci responded to immediately. The other was the cumbersome process of having friends join us. Homeowner association understandably sets the rules but again Traci smoothed and helped as much as she could. We’d stay here again if we return to the area.

PGA West at its Best!

We recently enjoyed our second annual stay at this property in PGA West. It proved to be just as wonderful as the first. The accommodations were excellent. The comfort was very much like staying at home and everything was as advertised. My only complaint was that our 15 days passed far too quickly.

House was very clean. We couldn't get the WiFi, Keurig, or the DVD player to work, probably all user error. Having a place on the course my tournament was on was perfect! We wish there was a private hot tub on the patio, at least the community pool was 2 houses down.

Brad Thank you much for the review and I am happy you had a nice stay at PGA West. The house is truly in a great spot in relationship to the pool and spa. Just 2 doors away. PGA West has over 54 swimming pools and hot rubs throughout the resort. We never felt the need to have a spa on the patio but I guess that would also be pretty cool ! So sorry about the wifi issues. I know we talked a few times regarding the possible issue but we're never able to coordinate. I did call to confirm with the HOA /cable that there were no outages Not sure what was going on and again apologize. It was great having you stay and I hope the golf tournament went well !! Regards

A Beautiful Vacation Getaway

My wife and I just returned from 12 days and nights at this wonderful La Quinta property. We had a fabulous time. The condo is beautiful. All the conveniences one would expect at a 5 star hotel are there. Coffee every morning on the front patio overlooking a fabulous PGA West golf course. Always accessible internet and cable tv. Lovely evenings in the courtyard with a very efficient Bar B Q that seemed to cook our meals to perfection. The appliances are new. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out. We greatly enjoyed our stat at Oak Tree! The condo was very well stocked with everything we needed from dish and laundry soap to paper towels and TP.. Most vacation rentals are not! We could not get three of the four burners to work on the stove so the owner should look into that. We were also told that we were not allowed to walk on the PGA course paths which was a bummer! Otherwise this is a great property!

Just so happened that your stay was the week leading into the Career Builder Challenge, a PGA tournament that is played at the Stadium Golf Course ( the Course the house is on ) The golf course and cart paths are marshaled and only players ,ticket holders, and authorized personnel are allowed on the course during tournament events. Fortunately there are miles of beautiful areas within the grounds of PGA West and beyond for walking and bike rides and I hope you were able to take in some of the beautiful sights during your visit. As for the burners on the Induction stove top, they were checked are working fine. Not sure what could have been happening but we are sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks Again for staying at Oaktree! Hope to see you back again.

This is our second review...The actual property was nice and as advertized...The problem was the main bathroom sinks DID NOT DRAIN...NO EXTRA TOILET PAPER...THE TOILET WAS BACKED UP WHEN WE GOT THERE...THE AIR-CONDITIONER WAS NOT ON BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL AND TOOK TWO HOURS TO COOL WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED...NO ICE IN THE ICE-MAKER ON ARRIVAL...CABLE TV WENT OUT ON SUNDAY...!!!

Hi Jim, So sorry to hear about these issues. We had no idea. After speaking with your wife to give her directions I followed up with a text to check in and make sure you all were good and she said the house was perfect. I wish I had know about your problems, I am certain we could have made things instantly better. In the house notes we mention the linen closet with extra linens and the paper towel and toilet paper supplies. There are multiple rolls of each in the closet. So sorry we didn't know to help with that. I will definitely ask my housekeepers to put extras out in a more visible place. The ice maker is energy efficient and goes into conservation mode if not used for awhile. I am assuming that is what happened. It appears to be working well now. Again, apologize and sorry we didn't know so we could help. As far as the temperature when you arrived I again apologize. The setting for the winter months is slightly higher due to the cooler temps when the house is vacant. The housekeepers were there very early and the morning temperatures this time of year dip down and provide a nice cool start to the day. It's hard to get things perfect temperature wise with the big swings from morning to afternoon. The air conditioning unit was fully replaced 2 years ago and works wonderfully so I am glad you were able to get things cooled to your comfort Our welcome letter has contact phone numbers for not only myself but for the housekeepers and a back up contact. I try to always make people know they can call or text for any issues. We ask that we are notified if there are any problems at all. I appreciate the feedback and I only wish we had known so that we could have assisted. We want everyone to have a lovely stay.

My family and I spent a good part of my life living in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. During that time my parents discovered the beautiful Coachella Valley and it's incredible weather. It became an ideal place to spend our winters. I have been spending a good part of the year here ever since! I attended high school in the desert and then went on to play basketball at the collegiate level in Texas and overseas. One of the many things I love about the desert and the Palm Springs Area is the active lifestyle, the miles and miles of bike paths and all of the wonderful hiking trails.
There are so many great events in the desert. A few of my favorites are StageCoach Music Festival, Indian Wells Tennis Garden Tournaments, the C.O.D. Street fair and the La Quinta Farmers Market, Palm Springs Air Museum and the Aerial tram to name just a few. We all enjoy the many fabulous restraunts through out the valley. The desert valley is just a great place to spend time!

There are endless trails for wonderful hikes and walks ,great bike trails and paths , world class golf courses, great dining, art festivals, shopping, farmers markets, and incredible weather for recreation and relaxing.
