Antoine's apartment was perfect for our needs! Great space and plenty of it. Everything we needed and in an amazing neighborhood just steps away from 2 different metros that took us anywhere we wanted to go! Antoine was helpful and very kind. We would rent his apartment again in a heartbeat!!
Antoine was a lovely host who made us feel welcome and taken care of. The property was very clean and much bigger than expected! It's right in the heart of everything, so we were able to walk everywhere. 10/10 will stay here next time we go to Paris!
This is a genuine Parisian apartment that provides both space for four and lived-in ambiance that hotels can’t match. The neighborhood is safe, with easy access to restaurants and metros. The owner is friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.Billy in Knoxville
We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this spacious three bedroom apartment. It is very close to two metros and streets nearby with all kinds of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and coffee shops. Everything was lovely. Highly recommended.
Great location, close to lots of restaurants and tourist destinations. The apartment was comfortable for our family of five adults. We had easy communication with Antoine.
Great location!! Close to everything either walking or metro. Owner works from den on top floor located by bedrooms - we found it uncomfortable. - even though he also has a separate entrance. Toilet on top floor closed off when owner in den which was very inconvenient. We are not use to owners showing up three or four times a stay. Owner is very nice.
We just spent a week at Antoine’s place and it was wonderful! The property was a well-equipped, spacious 2 story apartment up two flights of stairs – great for a family of 4 adults to stretch out and relax after a long day of touring the city. Everything was within walking distance: the Metro, grocery stores, and many café/restaurants. We also walked to the Louvre and Les Halles. Antoine was a great host –answering all my questions prior to arrival and then made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend this place!
This was an exceptional find in the heart of Paris. The owner Antoine was an exceptional host despite being away on business/personal matters. Good communication and he had two son's nearby who were able to help anytime. The apartment is very large by Paris standards and well decorated and provisioned with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of space to nap and relax after touring Paris. The neighborhood is exceptionally charming with countless brasseries and restaurants, two grocery stores within walking distance, three metro lines within a 1/4 of a mile, and an Michelin-starred restaurant within a 3 minute walk.We did not experience any issue with the upstairs bathroom as mentioned in previous posts, as the host was away our entire stay, but I do not see it as being a problem, and certainly not a reason not to book this wonderful find.We hope you enjoy your stay in this wonderful appartment and in the beautuful city of Paris!
We loved the apartment! There was plenty of room for five adults and the neighborhood was perfect. A fully stocked kitchen was available but who needs to cook when you can walk two blocks to Rue Montorgrueil with so many cafe/restaurant options. The apartment was walking distance to many sites (Louvre, Palais Royal, shopping at Les Halles) and very short walk (2 blocks) for the metro for longer treks. Antoine was easy to communicate with before our stay and was great with check in/out. We would absolutely stay here again!
Arrived and was warmly welcomed by Antoine’s son . The apartment is in a great location , easy to get around, tons of restaurants , metro just up the street.
The apartment was spacious, well allocated bedrooms , large windows , bright . Kitchen open and clean . Antoine was warm and made sure we were ok. I will visit again .
Beautiful home .
The property was perfect, Good food and groceries in neighborhood and 15 min walk to everywhere. Owner was very helpful. The upstairs bathroom not available when owner has office hours but not much of an issue. The unit up two long flights of stairs, so suitcases are a bit of a challenge. Overall great property!!
We rented this great apartment for a week for our family of six. The apartment is very well equipped in every way. It is in a great location for exploring Paris. There are 3 metro stations nearby. There are also numerous shopping opportunities - from supermarkets to many specialty stores in the nearby Rue Montorgueil, where there are also many nice restaurants and cafes.
Antoine, the very friendly owner, gave us very helpful information on how to get there, the apartment and the surrounding area before we arrived. Many thanks! Highly recommended.
We just got home from a wonderful stay at Bonne Nouvelle! Could not have asked for a better place to stay in terms of accommodations, location and Antoine the owner of the apartment. We traveled with our adult children. I would not recommend the apartment for families with young children as there are some steep stairs in the apartment and getting up to the apartment. The apartment was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Antoine, the owner of the apartment, was so welcoming and helpful! The location of the apartment was so perfect. You can literally walk out the door and have all sorts of restaurants and shopping, as well as Metro options to get around town.
This two-story apartment is cozy and charming with an interesting collection of art. Our host Antoine was quick to respond to our questions and always pleasant. The apartment is in a lively neighborhood with many Boulangeries, patisseries, Cafes, and grocery stores. Two nearby metros so it is easy to get almost anywhere in Paris. We stayed 7 nights and had a wonderful time in this unique Parisian apartment. Antoine gave us a schedule of his office hours so we knew when the upstairs toilet would not be available. It worked out fine since we were usually out during the day. It was a pleasure meeting Antoine and staying in his wonderful apartment.

Fabulous location, delightful decor, best property owner
Our family of 5 (dad, mom and 3 'kids' ages 17-21) stayed at this lovely rental for 10 nights. It is located on a rather quiet alley, but SO close to lively streets with groceries, bakeries, dining, bars, shopping! The location is great for sight seeing as well - easy walking distance to metro stations, and not a bad walk to many museums and attractions - the Louvre, Notre Dame, Pompedou...
I couldn't have asked for better communication with the owner - Antoine was SO helpful, and accommodating! I would recommend this property! The three bedrooms are all on the second floor of the apartment - the five of us were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed for home cooked meals. The décor is very cool!... Thank you Antoine!
This flat on the third floor of a beautiful building was everything I had hoped for and MORE!! Our host Antoine was amazing, and the location was perfect, close to the Metro, close to supermarkets to shop for food and wine and shops that spoke the true tone of staying in Paris the way a Parisienne would. Safe neighborhood… everything! We had my father in law with us who is not very mobile and uses a walker from time to time and he never complained once about the stairs. We stayed for 12 days and the next time I go to Paris, I would definitely stay here again. We had a large group, all family, all first timers to Paris (all first timers to Europe, in fact) and our host helped us when needed and it was a true blessing to meet such a caring and wonderful host - if I could give 6 stars I would.
We feel lucky to have found Antoine’s apartment! The apartment itself is incredibly charming, clearly a living space filled with thoughtful artifacts collected and enjoyed. The interior space makes one feel as if they are living as a Parisian briefly. The Neighborhood is one of the best in Paris for easy access to fantastic restaurants and shops (around the corner is my favorite street in Paris for its pedestrian pathways amidst endless great restaurants, boy heroes, boulangeries, patisseries… you name it! In addition, it’s easily walkable to many of the Paris sights to see and easy to grab rentable electronic bikes for locations a bit further.
Finally Antoine couldn’t have been a better host. He met us upon arrival and even helped us with our bags. He is thoughtful and easy going. We definitely plan to stay here again! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful week long visit in this exceptional apartment. There we four of us: one couple and two singles. The arrangements were perfect and having the large living space on the first floor of the apartment was great for gathering before and after our daily treks. One thing is that there is a trundle bed (which I liked better) in the bedroom that shows a futon on the floor. That photo online should be updated. Otherwise, everything was as described.
The two flights up to the apartment were what I would call easy compared to some Paris apartments I have been in, meaning they seemed to be a gradual climb rather that a steep climb. Anyway, we dd not fine them hard or too challenging.
One thing that could be included is a written list of any requirements or suggestions about the apartment.
We had a great stay and would choose this apartment again in the future.
I traveled with two friends, and we had a wonderful stay in Antoine's beautiful apartment. This is actually his home of 20 years--he stays elsewhere when it's rented--and it has all the charm and character and art you can see in the photos. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out. We did a little bit of cooking, mainly breakfast, and had all the equipment we needed. The week we were there was quite hot, in the upper 80s to mid 90s, and I was nervous when I realized I'd failed to check whether the apartment has air conditioning. It does not. But it really was not overly hot; the bedrooms have fans, and Antoine very kindly bought an additional one for the living room. We were quite comfortable and slept well. You can't tell from the photos, but the primary suite has its own shower and sink, and there is a second bathroom with a shower and two sinks. The two toilets (one upstairs, one downstairs) are separate. Antoine himself is just lovely. He met me at the apartment in person, and was so very kind and communicative. He bought an adapter so we could watch movies from our phone, and he even gifted us a delicious bottle of wine. The apartment is in an excellent location, right around the corner from the Metro, close to all kinds of restaurants, boulangeries, and shops, and walking distance from the Louvre. Despite being near a lot of action, the street it's on and the apartment itself were very quiet.Overall, a great place to stay and definitely recommend!
Wonderful apartment with lovely sunlight and artistic collections throughout. Rooms were spacious, but you need to be able to handle stairs well as two long flights of stairs to get to the apartment and another for the bedrooms! Antoine very responsive host.
