Everything worked out well and we loved staying here! We did a ski trip with a group of friends and loved how close it was to the resort and how spacious the area was.

Thank you for choosing the Lone Moose lookout as the home base for your Big Sky adventure! It was our pleasure to host you and the crew.
The house layout is very good for a large group. The locker room was a nice place to dump our gear after a long day skiing. Not to be rivaled by a relaxing session in the hot tub. The view of Lone Mountain is also very nice. Would certainly stay here again.

Thank you so much for staying with us at the Lone Moose Lookout! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the place. We would love to have you back anytime!
Layout was great for mix of family and friends. Quick 15 minute drive up to big sky for skiing and under a mile to replenish groceries. Even a low snow year big sky is fun to ski. Hot tub was awesome. Tv streamed all the Olympics and superbowl coverage. Hosts quick to respond to a few items we couldn’t find and hooked us up right away.

Thank you for choosing our Lone Moose Lookout as your home base. It was a pleasure to host you and the crew. We hope to invite you back for your next Big Sky adventure!
Modern spacious house located only 10 min driving from Big Sky resort. Only complaint is that the water heater at the house is small, and hot water ran out for a period when 5 people showered around the same time.

Thank you for choosing the Lone Moose Lookout as your home base! It was our pleasure to host you and the crew.
We had a group of college friends together for a ski trip. We took advantage of the well appointed kitchen to make breakfast and dinner. The coffee maker and toaster weren’t working very well, but otherwise the kitchen was great. The fireplace was great both in the tv room and in the dining room. There was plenty of space for our group.

Thank you so much for staying with us at the Lone Moose Lookout! We are so happy to hear that the kitchen was a great place for you to all gather together along with the TV room and dining room.
*Note to future guests*
We have addressed the function of both the coffee pot and the toaster.
As vacation home owners who care a lot about how our own house is outfitted we were very impressed with how well-outfitted this house was. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The house was homey and provided all the space that our group of ten needed. The location close to Big Sky Town Center was convenient for grocery shopping, restaurants and ski shops. The main base of Big Sky was a quick 15 minutes up the road and the Madison Base (which we found was way easier to access) was another 7 minutes past that. You definitely need 4-wheel drive up here in the winter time. Great place!

We do highly recommend 4WD vehicles in the wintertime, as snow fall can be abundant.
We had the most magical stay at this Montana home - it truly felt like a winter wonderland! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by festive Christmas decorations that added a cozy and joyful touch to the space. It was such a pleasant surprise to walk in and see the space beautifully decorated for the season. Our hosts went above and beyond, leaving us a thoughtful welcome box filled with delicious coffee and sweet treats. It was the perfect way to start our mornings while watching the snow fall outside. A major highlight of our stay was the hot tub—it was the ideal way to unwind and enjoy the serene winter landscape. The location in Big Sky was ideal for exploring the area, with stunning views and easy access to everything. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a charming, well-appointed retreat in the heart of Montana’s winter magic!
