Everything was very nice and comfortable! Loved the convenience to Glacier and also to restaurants and groceries. The cabin was well-stocked with essentials- including bear spray and a cooler! Perfect for outdoor adventures!
This is a great home away from home! They had everything I needed and answered my questions promptly. It was close to Glacier park, food and gas were right where you turn to the property. Anything else I needed was in the next town just 5 miles away! I'd go back for sure!
Great little place for a couple like us. Had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the location was quiet and private, and being on the river was really fun. We would totally stay here again if we ever return to Glacier National Park.
This was a great location to get to Glacier National Park. It was convenient to restaurants, groceries, and the view from the back is amazing. Bed was comfy, had everything we needed to include bear spray. Would def stay here again.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Welcome back anytime! Thanks Cindy
The apartment is very nice with all of the necessary amenities. It is conveniently located to the Glacier National Park and with the community restaurants/grocery store in Hungry Horse.
We were very impressed with the inside and outside accommodations of this rental. Very clean and had everything we needed and more. The outside was perfect to relax after a long day at the park.
Great apartment for 2 people. Easy to get to. Easy access to the park and shopping. Beautiful view right out the back door. Cindy was wonderful to work with. Communication was great. Would definitely recommend the apartment if you are country folks like us. Little things don’t bother us.
Everything went smoothly during our stay. The space was clean and quiet. We loved taking breaks from GNP to sit in the quiet back yard overlooking the river and also enjoyed the trek down to the river. There's even a bench down there to sit on! The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots & pans needed for breakfasts and the Keurig had lots of k-cups to choose from. There's even a regular coffee maker if you bring your own grounds to make a full pot.
Enjoyed our stay here despite having auto issues to deal with. Kitchen is well appointed with appliances and utensils etc. loved the privacy and solitude.
Only downside is the internet capability which is community wide and NOT the fault of the host! Just glad we are retired and could be “off the grid” for a few days.
Highly recommend this property for a couple and the larger home looks to be great for a family as well! Would ask to stay again should we be lucky to return to the area.
Perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking in glacier national park. The host even left cans of bear spray to use while hiking and only had to be paid for if they were used. Kitchen is stocked with all the tools you need to cook meals and even has a few spices on hand to use. We enjoyed relaxing on the back patio or the hammock after long days of hiking.

Thank you for staying! Glad you enjoyed your stay! Cindy
The stay was ok. I would not say the unit was incredibly clean. There were many crumbs (?) on the sofa. Dishes were dirty, I had to clean some before I could use them. Wi-fi did not work, but owner was very apologetic.

I'm sorry for the internet issues, it is out of my control. Service has been restored but unfortunately not before your stay was over. I'm sorry you didn't feel the cleanliness of the apartment was up to your standards. I will take note of that to make sure a "double" check before each guests arrives. Thank you, Cindy
The house was perfect and just as described. There were plenty of fluffy, large towels for bath needs. The kitchen was perfectly stocked. There were two coolers for use and ice packs in the freezer. A nice, welcoming hammock to swing in and relax. The host was very responsive since to any message or need. Comfortable bed to rest after a long day exploring. There is river access right behind the house with a cozy spot to jump into the river and cool off or to fish from. It was a beautiful and quiet place to stay while enjoying the area. Glacier national park, flathead lake, whitefish, kalispell are all within a short drive of the property. Would highly recommend staying at Cindy’s place.

Relaxing stay on the river while visiting Glacier National Park
My husband and I stayed in this adorable cabin for 4 nights while visiting Glacier and it was WONDERFUL! After an exhausting day of hiking and biking in the park, it was so relaxing to come in and enjoy the hammock or walk by the peaceful river. It was especially nice to be able to cook and easily prepare our lunches and not have to eat out every meal. I also worked remotely one day, although the wifi was a bit spotty and we had to use my husband's phone as a hot spot to ensure connection (few places in this area have good wifi I think!). If you are a larger person, the shower might be a bit small. The kitchen had everything we needed including vegetable oil, sugar and several spices and the owner even provided bear spray that didn't cost anything unless you used it! This was a great place to stay and only 10 minutes from the park entrance!

Disappointing Stay-Not Peaceful at All!
We stayed at the Middle Fork Apt for 8 nights while we hiked GLNP. The location could not be more perfect for access to the park. Owner’s booking information, process and response to questions was prompt and helpful. Beyond this, renters should be aware of the following:
1) The property immediately next door to the apartment (about 15-20’ from apt bedroom window) has 5 dogs who are out at all times of the day/night running the fence line barking like crazy. The dog owner(s) would holler and whistle to call them. They are CLUELESS and completely inconsiderate as neighbors.
2) The property across the street is a bit of a mess and someone would rev a VERY loud motorbike at all hours of the night and would come and go or ride up and down the street well after midnight.
3) The property is close to a rail line and the trains run all night with horns blowing.
Between these 3 things, quality sleep was IMPOSSIBLE. After 4 sleepless nights with the dogs, I texted the owner and sent a video of the dogs making a racket and alerted her to the problem. She said she’d speak with the neighbors and said she’s had to speak with them before. Two nights later I had to send another text and called her after 11pm because the dogs were again out barking and we’d had enough. She came over and tried to speak w/them. Didn’t help as the problem continued the next night at 2:40 and 4:00am. I messaged Cindy again and she said she called sheriff and animal control. Needless to say, our last night was finally a quiet night.
Also of note: to access the river bank, you have to cross through the yard of the main house which is a bit awkward if the big house is occupied. The river bank is steep and there are only a couple of steps and the rest is literally a climb/slide down. For someone not physically adept, this would be a problem.
The lack of peacefulness really put a ding in our vacation. Not being able to sleep after of when preparing for long hikes made for some exhausting days which isn’t right. Needless to say, we will not return to this property, nor would we recommend this place to anyone seeking peace and quiet.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. It's very unfortunate for both of us. The Middle fork apartment as stated in description has a "shared" river access. Their are steps that go down approximately 15 feet then gravel walkway the last 6-8 feet. It is certainly up to each individual discretion if the walkway is suitable to descend. The train is a mile away, and across the river I guess you can slighlty hear it running on its tracks? I have lived here for over 20 years. The neighbor's have dogs and i taken the steps to address the situation. I also contacted the guests in the main house (who were staying at the same time and length of time as guests in apartment) and inquired if they were bothered by dogs barking. They stated they heard them a couple of times but they did have any concerns. The main house is approximately 10 feet further away from the same fence. The previous guest stayed 14 days in the middle fork apartment and no complaints from them, as the previous 6 renters. One of those guests..when I asked them if the dogs were being bothersome, they stated they heard them as well a couple of times but the neighbor whistled and brought the dogs in house. This rental is on the river in montana, its clean, comfortable and is described accurately on the rental site. I realize I cant make every guest happy but I sure will make every attempt to make my guests stay comfortable. Thank you, Cindy
This was a beautiful area. Easy check in lovely alt. Very reasonable price. Thank you for the spices and plastic bags. So helpful. Well equipped hade evertything we needed. Thanks. We would stay there again
Great location on the Flat Head river about a 10 minute drive to West Glacier
Great grocery store located close by in columbia falls.
The place had everything you needed for cooking, cleaning and staying tidy.
Would absolutely go back

Conveniently located 20minutes drive from Glacier NP entrance. It was peaceful and the kitchen was well equipped. Bear spray for lending was a thoughtful addition, although we had our own and fortunately didn’t need to use it.

Cindy’s place was exceptionally clean. The check in process was easy and smooth. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. This was a perfect spot to sleep every night after hiking in Glacier. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable apartment while visiting the park, this is a great choice!
