FLAWLESS week on Crete

Gorgeous property, perfect location, quiet and not touristy! We had every amenity we could have imagined, and didn’t even want to leave the property! But when we did, it was very easy to get around to all the different activities we had planned. Multiple restaurants in walking distance and all delicious and very authentic. Eleftheria was an amazing hostess and made my mom’s birthday extra special with surprise homemade touches during our stay and she was so kind! My mom was blown away, and so were my husband and I! I’ve already recommended to several friends and am sure we will return one day!! Thank you so much, Eleftheria!!!! 💕🇬🇷

Just fabulous

We stayed at the vills returning back on 27th Aug 2022. The vills was lovely and clean. Spacious and extremely very well equipped with every thing you would need for the stay. The pool is large and very well kept. The jacuzzi too was large and and in great working order. The sea was literally at the end of the garden. Lovely quiet beach. A few tavernas within a 5 mins walk. Our favourite was one called Mithimna the food was very good indeed. Classical Greet favourites also great fresh fish cooked on a charcoal barbecue. Staff very friendly indeed. The owners of the villa could not of been more pleasant. At the end of a text message if we needed anything. The wife called Eleftheria was lovely to deal with and she keeps the vills in the most superb condition. We would go back again and stay. I never really write reviews but this place really did warrant one. Lovely stay.

We hired this villa for 3 weeks from mid-May until early June with a group of friends and family members aged 27 to 74. For those looking for a spanking villa on a quiet, unspoilt stretch of coast, this is the place. The villa itself is wonderfully spacious and beautifully equipped. Beds were super-comfy and the showers are powerful with no shortage of hot water. Although we did very little cooking, the kitchen seemed to be fully equipped and has some nice touches eg coffee machine and ice-maker. Housekeeping was excellent with towels/bed linen changed twice per week and the villa cleaned from top to bottom. Plentiful supples of toilet rolls, bathroom products, tea, coffee etc. Pool man and gardener kept the pool spotless and the garden spruce.One of our party has some mobility issues but experienced no problems. The stairs to the first floor are gentle,carpeted and with good handrails. The showers are walk-in with anti-slip mats provided. Although there are some steps within the villa, the majority of it is ‘on a level’ and the drive provides level access to the road.The pool is large with stepped access and the garden furniture is good quality and very comfortable. There are 2 tavernas and a mini-market very close to the villa. A 20 minute walk up into the village brings you to a bakery and supermarket.Rhia, the owner, is amazing and could not have been more helpful and generous. We had a fabulous time.

What a wonderful vacation rental. My family and I needed to escape the city life. We chose this because of the location, beach access, food options, house, amenities, and service and were absolutely spoiled. The people were incredible. From the owner and her family to the staff and local shop owners, we did not want to leave. Location: Outside of a city, private yard, fruit trees, close to a store/restaurant/bars and steps away from the beach and walking paths. Beach Access: Across the driveway, literally steps to the beach. Gorgeous views, shore to walk on with walking paths nearby. Food Options: Multiple restaurants from 1 to 10 minutes walking distance. Amazing, delicious, home cooked-type food. Grill and stone fire oven at the house, too. House: Very spacious, clean, comfortable, large kitchen and eating area, pools, spa, great indoor and outdoor seating, multiple patios. Amenities: Fruit trees, outdoor patio, pool, spa, professional staff around to help, private driveway. Service: The house was clean, spotless. The local fisherman even came to explain the weather and catch of the day. The staff helped start the stone fire oven (to make homemade pizzas).

Absolutely beautiful!!

This villa is amazing! The owner has catered for every need you could think of! Every amenity for children and we had 3 aged 6 months, 18 months and 3 yrs. Villa is immaculate and so safe for children. The owner is simply lovely! So friendly and cares about her guests so much. She arrived with a beautiful cake for my birthday and you can see she genuinely cares for her guests! Pool and hot tub is amazing. Just cannot fault in any way! The cleaners are very friendly and left the place immaculate!!! Definitely cannot wait to come back! Would recommend a car so you can visit the beautiful beaches and supermarkets are much cheaper than the local one.

Beautiful spacious modern villa in peaceful surroundings. The pool and garden are what sold the villa to us and we were not disappointed it’s the best we have experienced. We didn’t use the hot tub so not sure how good it was but the hostess was a lovely lady and couldn’t do enough for us so I’m sure if there was ever a problem it would be fixed in no time! She even brought extra inflatables and games for the kids, and delicious home cooked food for the adults! The villa is well stocked with toiletries, kitchen basics and really anything a family holiday requires from a villa we truly couldn’t have asked for more! Cleaning service twice a week at no additional cost was excellent and the pool checked just as regularly. Local tavernas serving good food within walking distance and Kíssamos town with everything you need only 10 min drive away. The beach across the road from the villa is ok, better beaches less than 30 min drive-falassana was our favourite -gentle waves and shallow waters for the kids-perfect! Blue orange beach bar great to watch sunsets and our best meal was at gram boussa restaurant. Would love to go back we had an amazing 2 weeks!! Thankyou Eleftheria xxx

We spend two weeks with our two kids and parents (in total 8) in this beautiful Villa right next to the ocean. 5* luxury in a villa. Villa Elvina is perfect in every way. The villa was spotlessly clean and had plenty of space - both indoors and out - for our family group of five. It had all of the facilities we could want and more; we appreciated the welcome pack, the unlimited supply of coffee etc, the toiletries, the bath robes and of course the delicious chocolate cake! We loved the pool and the jacuzzi, the pizza oven and the proximity to the beautiful beach. There are three restaurants and a mini-market within a short walk of the villa. However, I would recommend hiring a car so that you can visit the nearby town of Kissamos, local beaches, etc.

Perfect family villa

We stayed at this beautiful villa with our older children, their partners and a toddler. The outside area is enclosed ideal for a lively child to run about and explore. Very clean and well thought out pools for young ones to play in safely. All bedrooms were situated in separate areas with their own bathrooms, this gave us all privacy and space. The property is well maintained and cared for, exceptionally clean and full of essentials needed for your stay. Well situated with a local taverna for breakfast and dinner, who also delivered food orders to the home. I would highly recommend staying here. Jordan family August 2017

A perfect family vacation at Villa Elvina!

Our family spent the most amazingly perfect week at Villa Elvina!! There were 6 of us, my husband and I, our 2 sons, and their girlfriends. The property is just as beautiful as the pictures, plenty of space for all of us. It was spotless and had everything you need or want. Eleftheria, the owner, was a wonderful hostess. She checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. One of our son's got engaged while we were there and Eleftheria brought a cake and a bottle of champagne to celebrate! There are tavernas a couple of minutes away and we had quite a few dinners at the one recommended by her. We will definitely return to this amazing villa!! Just perfect!

Wonderful Holiday in this Fantastic Villa

Everything at this villa was wonderful, I'll try to give you some extra info that you may like to know especially if you are from the UK. It is a very modern villa with a stunning and very large infinity pool,it has a very large front garden with well kept short grass thats perfect for ball games. Inside there are not 1 but 2 curved screen 40"smart TVs, they also have a brand new PS4 with FIFA 17 and NBA 4K games. There are lots of pool inflatables and footballs for kids to enjoy in the pool and on the grass. The hot tub is brilliant and there is also a large BBQ grill in the back garden courtyard along with an outdoor pizza oven. The views across the villa grounds over to the sea (which is literally at the bottom of the garden) are magnificent. There are barely any surrounding properties so peace and privacy are guaranteed. Also Eleftheria the owner is a brilliant host, always available if you have any questions and she is very kind and even bought us a fantastic chocolate cake as a gift midway through our stay. 5 stars ? - it most definitely is and we will be booking again for certain.

Paradise on Crete

This is an absolutely gorgeous property, impeccably maintained, in a beautiful location. The villa itself is well designed, with wonderful views, and it includes many porches and terraces from which to enjoy the Mediterranean breezes and wonderful view of the bay. The kitchen is well equipped, and the town of Kissamos, five minutes down the road by car, offers a grocery store and restaurant that make it easy to stock the kitchen. And if you don't feel like cooking, there are two tavernas within walking distance. The yard is beautifully landscaped, and the pool area features comfortable seating. There is a beach right outside the villa that slopes gently into a picturesque bay. The owner, Eleftheria, went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. One night, she even brought us a wonderful home-cooked meal, and a cake to help us celebrate our anniversary! The property is in a nice location, on the northwest coast. It is only a 45-minute drive to the picturesque town of Chania. We also recommend taking a drive along the wild western coast of Crete (which is easy to do from this location) to the famous pink sand beach of Elafonisi. The coastal road is one of the most beautiful drives we've ever taken. Be warned, though -- spending time at this villa is so enjoyable, that you may find yourself cutting back on your touring plans in order to spend more time here!

Absolutely fantastic choice!

We had an absolutely fantastic week at Villa Elvina and would eagerly return. We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers (both between 2 and 3 years old), and we were absolutely spoiled for space (we had initially planned to also have one further couple with their toddler, and the amount of indoor and outdoor communal space would have worked very well for that too). Our experience was top-notch largely because of Eleftheria's fantastic responsiveness and attention to detail. She was very quick at responding to all queries, both before and during the holiday, and was a fantastic source of tips and advice on local beaches, restaurants and sights. She was also very happy to stock us up with Day-1 basics in accordance with a pre-travel list that we'd sent along, and was extremely kind and generous throughout the trip with little bits and pieces of local Cretan fare. Such a wonderful host! The house itself is also exceptional. Extremely clean, extremely spacious, great stock of kid-friendly toys and supplies (ie plastic dishes and cutlery, potty, high-chairs, baby towels etc). Landscaping is beautifully done, and the views down to the sea and across to the mountains were lovely. We didn't do a ton of exploring (two beach days, one morning in Chania, one afternoon nearby at Wave on the Rocks and a few trips to nearby Kissimos), as the kids were overjoyed to just play in the kids pool and on the lawn. It's a quiet, relaxing and peaceful place, with a great high-end feel based on all of Eleftheria's well-thought-out touches. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
