Enjoy this large Lake Norman "cabin" surrounded by over an acre of woods with a fully fenced-in backyard and a wrap-around covered deck with a near-by boat slip. Step in the front door and be greeted by a 2-story, custom-made stone fireplace. With the boat slip ¼ mile away, feel free to bring your boat…or rent one. This "cabin," along with its full basement, provides space for families and friends to gather. NOTE: There is no lake access from the property as it is located on a protected cove. However, our boat slip is at the communal dock only a short walk/drive away.

NOTE:
Guests are welcome to use any supplies in the kitchen/laundry room (paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, TP, etc). Please don't waste supplies! And feel free to leave unopened boxes of supplies or nonperishable food for the next guest.

This is a dog-friendly home! We charge a $100+tax non-refundable fee for up to 2 dogs. We supply dog bowls, old sheets to cover the couches/beds, a couch cover, old towels to clean up any messes, a dog bed, leashes, and some toys. Please use the provided pooper scooper to clean up after your pooch.

Enjoy the fire pit! Just know that you will need to bring your own firewood. And we ask that you use the provided hose to extinguish the fire when you are done.

Enjoy the ample parking in our circular driveway. There is even enough room to park your boat trailer at the house if needed.

Utilities: No compensation will be given for a temporary outage of electricity, natural gas, water or internet. Outages are to be reported immediately, and all efforts will be made to restore service as soon as possible.

Location:
We are located in Sherrills Ford, NC. We are on the west side of Lake Norman, across the lake from Mooresville. We are about a hour from the Charlotte Douglas Airport, as well as a hour from uptown Charlotte. The closest restaurants are Joey's and Linebergers. A Publix is located about 10 minutes away. Mooresville has most of the other stores and restaurants you love. Note: The traffic in Mooresville on Hwy 150 can be heavy at times, so plan accordingly.

HOUSE RULES:
Whomever makes the booking must be present on the property for check-in and for the duration of the stay. The credit card used for booking must be in the name of the guest.

Overnight guest capacity is 10. If you plan to have extra daytime guests, please notify us in advance to get approval. We are on a septic tank, so please be aware of what you flush down the toilet and put down the sinks.

NO PARTIES!

There are 3 outdoor security cameras (Ring) for everyone's safety and security. Two are located in the front of the house and one is over the garage. PLEASE do not disable them!

No open flames (candles) are permitted anywhere on the property except at the firepit. Do NOT leave the grill or firepit unattended.

Smoking/vaping is NOT permitted inside the property. You are welcome to smoke on the deck and at the firepit. Please use supplied ashtrays and clean up any ashes/butts.

Use of any illegal substances anywhere on the property is PROHIBITED.

Violation of the above policies will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and the need for you to vacate the premises without any refund of remaining nights. You may also lose your deposit and/or be charged a $500 fee per incident.

If you experience any issues, please notify us immediately. We will get our cleaners or handyman over as soon as possible. Note: They may need access to the premise to remedy any issues. We ask that you give us every opportunity to make this a top-notch vacation for you.
