Remodeled MAY 2024! Our priority has always been to provide our guests with premier vacation rental experiences and ensure you feel comfortable from the moment you enter your rental property. While we’ve always gone to great lengths to best maintain and prepare all of our properties, we’ve since updated our operating protocols and are allocating extra cleaning time between guests to disinfect and sanitize all high-touch surfaces. This may mean that your property won’t be ready until check-in time, but you can rest assured that it will be clean and safe for your stay! To limit interaction, we will provide contactless check-in instructions for accessing the unit. We had a great time. The kitchen could maybe use a little bit of an update, but the location was fantastic. The extra bedrooms was great to have. I would stay again.

Amazing Condo

We rented this condo for a family vacation!! The complex was so safe, clean and well maintained. Beach was a 1 minute walk. So many amazing restaurants in the area. Beach staff were so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend with property.

I201 at Playa Turquesa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in I201 at Playa Turquesa for a week in mid-February. First, the communication with Go Punta Cana Vacations was outstanding. By utilizing the phone, email, and the Hospitality App every question was answered immediately from booking through checkout. The unit is clean, roomy, and well equipped. The location is excellent with many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There were always chairs available on the beach and the location of TOC Beach Bar and Restaurant make this one of the prime beach locations in Punta Cana. The security personnel were polite and cheerful and security was outstanding. I would recommend Playa Turquesa and Go Punta Cana Vacations to anyone.

Perfect spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This wonderful condo was fantastic for our family of 8 (6 adults, 1 child, 1baby). It is a great alternative to an all-inclusive resort. We were there during low season for tourists (Oct.) and loved our privacy. Very easy access ro the beach, nice shade deck area on the beach. We bought groceries at the super market (by car) but the little market right at the end of the condo complex was very well equipped. We ate many of our meals out, mostly walking to wonderful nearby restaurants with great prices. The rental company was very responsive and helpful before, during, and at the end of our stay. Also enjoyed easy access to El Tour Caribe for our scuba and snorkle trips--owners live in the complex and were so helpful. We travel a lot and always want to go to different places, but can see ourselves returning here.

The beach and pool(s) are just steps away and everyone working with Go Punta Cana Vacations (transfers from the airport, check-in staff, beach staff, beach bar staff) were so helpful and friendly. English is spoken and you can absolutely converse but it is helpful to know a little Spanish as well. Would absolutely recommend this condo for your vacation. Also, Scott and Go Punta Cana Vacation Rentals was incredibly accommodating with the pandemic. We originally planned to visit in March of 2020 and of course that didn't happen. Scott extended our credit and made it work so that we could eventually visit in Nov 2021. I haven't encountered such flexibility in the past and, amongst other reasons, would absolutely recommend booking through them.

Wonderful Time Amazing Location and Apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful time, 3 ol ladies meeting up to celebrate life. I would say the only somewhat negative comment would be there was NO cleaning product available to help with the cleaning up of counters and stove top, bathroom sinks, since cleaning up is part of the list of guests responsibilities, therefore, having a generic cleaner available would have been helpful, we were only there for 8 full days we never thought to purchase any as we had to dispose of anything not used so it would have been helpful to add to the items available for guests - minimal financial output by the host. Note that if you do stay, the water cooler is missing the spike which pierces the bottle lid - we had the repair person come and we were told the full plastic cap needs to be removed from the bottle - we spent a couple of days squeezing the water manually into the cooler reservoir after itempied - that being said, the support was quick to come and look. HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! We will be back. Thanks for everything. Oh yes, and one of our group members was from the UK and a tea drinker, unfortunately, there is no kettle, so you may want to add one to the kitchen instead of boiling pots of water.

Highly recommended

This is a very well-maintained condo with nice furnishings. Beds are very comfortable. A/C in bedrooms work great. A/C in living/kitchen/dining room doesn't keep area as cool. Kitchen has all necessities. Washer/dryer was installed sideways into a closet making it difficult to access but it works. Beach towels are provided. Beach lounge chairs are free. Get to beach early if you want shaded palapa. Beach bar has delicious food and drinks but too pricey. Water is beautiful where patches of seaweed (lots of it) not present. Pools are large and clean. Swim-up bar wasn't open:( All guards are very polite, friendly and present keeping complex very safe. The balcony is very large with comfortable outdoor furniture, bbq grill and gorgeous views of ocean. Elevators available for heavy baggage. Location of property is perfect. You're within walking distance of tons of restaurants. Recommend Citrus Fusion, ,

With the living room A/C, it was low on freon which now has been solved. Environmental stress combined with heavy guest use can cause equipment to malfunction or fail. If you experience any problems with equipment during your stay, we ask to please let us know as soon as possible. We have full time maintenance staff to address any issues that may arise during your stay. Please pardon the sargassum while Mother Nature restores our beaches. Sargassum (Seaweed) is a naturally occurring event along coastal areas. It is a floating ecosystem. Seaweed comes and goes and we have no control over that. It is difficult to indicate how long seaweed will last and/or come and go. It depends on ocean currents and wind patterns linked to climate change. The Caribbean islands most affected by sargassum seaweed in the past include Barbados, Tobago, Guadeloupe, Dominican Republic and Martinique. However, it's important to note that even on islands affected by an influx of sargassum algae there are often beaches that are totally clear on the same island. I’m so pleased you appreciate our services. A Great Family Vacation Location

Go Punta Cana did an amazing job with communication on this property. We had a couple of issues that did come up with AC and Cable but I messaged them on WhatsApp and they had someone their to fix the issues within 20 min. The location was perfect for walking to near restaurants and shopping and everyone we met was so nice. TOC the restaurant on the beach was some of the best food we had and Citrus which was just outside of BAM Market had such amazing Coffee - I could go on and on about how amazing our experience was and this home was perfect for my family. I am counting down the days we can go back.

Loved the fact the property was very clean. Did not smell like humidity which is common in apt rentals. We has ocean view and were just steps away from one of the pools, which was great. Communication is good and complete before arrival, but its more one way. Could not reach out to any of the numbers or emails provided and when expressing this to the person on the phone seemed annoyed and would not let me get a word across. They just need to work on their costumer service skills, other than that the property itself is great, specially for families and large groups.

Love Playa Turquesa... Home Away From Home

This was our 2nd time to Playa Turquesa! Loved it! Wished we had booked a longer stay. Next time we will:) The condo was exactly as pictured and described. Go Punta Cana staff was great! Very clean, spacious and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the large comfortable terrace every morning for coffee and evenings for a night cap. Great view with a tropical breeze always blowing. The Playa Turquesa staff... guards, grounds keepers, front desk were friendly, polite and hard working! We really love and appreciate the DR people! Toc Beach Bar Restaurant is definitley 5star! And PT beach is beautiful and well kept. We always felt safe and enjoyed our daily walks down the beach and visiting the surrounding restaurants. Our favorites are Kats Corner and Citrus, Kiosko Food truck, La Bruja, and Taino! Delicious and great service every time. Miss them already! Day dreaming of our next trip back! Thanks DR for you hospitality!

Do not go to the Dominican Republic

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is upscale (terrazzo floors, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances) and immaculately clean. It is also quite large. However, the building is guarded by several armed guards. Makes you feel safe? Why do they need so many guards? It is due to the high rate of crime in the DR. Also, locals are constantly asking you to buy things or downright extorting tourists for money. All.the.time. The beach is full of seaweed and they have 2 men with rakes and a wheelbarrow cleaning it up. They can never keep up with it so it sits on the beach and stinks. The rental companies want you to believe that we had just one bad week of seaweed. That is not true and the Cardibean has had a sargassum seaweed explosion since 2011. Do your research. Met a family that ones a condo in Playa Torquesa said they never got in the water all last summer in 2018. Also power goes out frequently in this country as it is a developing country. When the power goes out, you also have NO water. This happened multiple times. This condo has absolutely NO water pressure in 2 of the showers. But the biggest disappointment is that you feel a prisoner in your condo. The beach is smelly and full of seaweed and if you leave the complex locals are extorting money.

It is a shame a disgruntled renter can post a negative review that has such exaggerated complaints. We have had hundreds of guests stay with us over the years. To clarify, there are armed guards in all communities and hotels. Do they not have armed guards in your country? As far as I know law enforcement/security/police in USA have guns the same way they do in the DR. I guess it is a catch 22 - some complain if there is no armed security and some complain if there is armed security. One thing that you do not see in the DR is mass shooting in schools, places of worship, malls, department stores, shopping centers, movie theaters. As of July 2019 in USA there have been 248 mass shootings, 246 people killed, 979 wounded, 2 occurred at a school and 1 at a place of worship. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. You are from OHIO and should know of the recent tragedy in Dayton. A mass shooting was carried out in Dayton, Ohio, United States, on August 4, 2019. Ten people were killed (including the perpetrator) and 27 others were injured. Seventeen of the injured were shot by the gunman, who was killed by police within 32 seconds of the first shots. It could have been worse if ARMED GUARDS had not been there. Seaweed is something that the entire Caribbean and parts of the USA have been dealing with in recent years. It comes and goes and we have no way of controlling or knowing when we will have seaweed. Sort of the same with rain, winds, tropical storms and hurricanes... Mother nature is in charge. Punta Cana and Bavaro count with private electricity company which provides power 24/7. There are times where maintenance is being done and power will go out but usually no more than an hour. Please feel free to discuss any concerns you may have with us before you rent. We feel sure you will enjoy your stay at our condo.

More info regarding what was available at the local market and obtaining water would have been helpful. Bam market was adequate for just about everything so didn't really need to stop at bigger grocery store for our needs. Less sheer drapes in bedroom would have been nice.

Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice vacations in Punta Cana, unhopefully we had a construction next to the apartment and they started working from 6.30 am to 11.00 pm, at first with loud music included but after we argue they stop doing it. The apartment was nice and clean and also the condo.
