The property hosts four people with one bedroom and an inflatable bed in the living room. Thanks to the available living space and amenities provided the experience is both convenient and good value.
The property is an efficient unit and the place is quiet.
However, there should be better information about it in the description. It is some distance from the center of town. The unit does not have central heat, it was not warm enough to test the AC. The television does not carry network channels. The closet doors are hard to move. There are a lot of items which appear to belong to the owner that is everywhere. It should be consolidated and out of the way. There should be a folder with information about Wi-Fi, access to the pool and tennis courts (actually we had no access to either pool or courts) sights to see, how to operate the space heaters, etc. In general the unit was built in the 1960's and the interior is a bit tired. The unit is a part of an HOA and the exterior is well managed.

Unit and host need improvement
Listed as "Mid-Century Modern" but certainly NOT modern. The listing shows a graphic of a sofa couch and says there is a queen airbed. Instead, there is a standard couch (not meant for sleeping) and a twin airbed. There were no written instructions in the unit for accessing the pool (which is only solar heated and therefore NOT useable except in hot months) for operating the very complicated A/C and heating thermostat (there is no central heat) or for operating the small cabinet-mounted electric fireplace in the living room. Exhaust fan in the bathroom does not work--hence paint and plaster is peeling from the ceiling; broken tile in the tub enclosure. Closet doors, sliding doors and windows very difficult to open and close. Closets are crowded with extraneous stuff. Unit smelled musty and had the odor of burnt electrical wiring--perhaps from the kitchen refrigerator that didn't work (there was a small replacement in the living room). Furniture is worn; king bed is squeaky. The neighborhood is very quiet and grounds attractive. The host was cooperative and approved a refund of our second night.

Regarding the sleeping arrangements, our listing clearly states that we provide one king bed and an air mattress. We never said we have a sofa sleeper either. We aim to be transparent in our descriptions and photos to ensure our guests know what to expect.

Concerning the issues you encountered with the maintenance of the unit, we take such feedback seriously. We are already in the process of addressing the points you’ve raised, including the bathroom fan, closet doors, and ensuring all appliances are in working order. We aim to maintain our property to a high standard and appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention.
Regarding the temperature control, our Nest thermostat is designed to provide a comfortable environment year-round. We apologize if its operation was not immediately intuitive.
