Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this unique property. Our host Paul was very responsive to any questions we had and he made some recommendations for nearby restaurants and local sites. The location is near enough to walk to several restaurants, small vendors and markets. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to Old Town. The home was well stocked and exceptionally clean. The beds were super comfortable and the home was remarkably quiet considering it’s located in a fairly busy neighborhood. Our neighbors nearby were very friendly, welcoming and gracious. Thank you Paul and Nils for an amazing stay at the Lotus House!

Born and raised in the northeast region of Thailand, I grew up in Buriram and lived there until my early adulthood. I have spent some time in the USA and Spain. Always been an avid traveler and traveled frequently.

I have found Chiangmai to be an extraordinary place with a mixture of it all Thailand has to offer.

We are now renting our townhouse out to vacationers to share this little unique space.

As the day turns to dusk, the energy and excitement of Chang Khlan only grow stronger. The street comes alive with twinkling lights and the aroma of exotic cuisine becomes even more tantalizing. Restaurants, cafes, and food stalls offer an incredible variety of dishes from all corners of the world, from spicy Thai curries to mouth-watering Indian kebabs.

The famous Night Bazaar takes over the street with an explosion of colors, sounds, and flavors. Here, you can browse through rows of stalls that offer everything from trendy clothing and accessories to beautiful handicrafts and souvenirs.
