Home was completely remodeled and updated in 2019. Gorgeous Ocean Views and Sunsets from most rooms. If you’re not looking at the Ocean the Montara Mountains are a great second option. Ideal location offering access to beach, Coastal trail and Downtown Half Moon Bay. where you will find shops, dining and bicycle rentals. Stroll on the beach or hike amongst the Redwoods.
4.2 miles North to the Pillar Point Harbor where you can rent kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The Harbor offers a variety of restaurants and activities as well. Here you can rent kayaks, stand-up paddle boards or surfboards at the well-known Mavericks Surf Shop. For Beach Front dining visit Miramar Beach House or the more famous Sam's Chowder House. Travel 3.8 miles South to The Ritz Carlton and two world class golf courses. At Sunset the Bagpiper strolls the property. If golf is in your plans the driving range is located directly behind our house. Quicker to walk then drive:).

BEAUTIFUL home in a beautiful neighborhood just steps from the ocean. Everything was clean, well maintained. The owners were so nice and responsive and getting in and out was a breeze. This was the perfect spot for us and our 3 children to stay the week and enjoy the laidback coastal life, but with the ability to venture downtown to San Francisco to take in the tourist sights.

This is the perfect place to bring the family! The house is amazing and stocked with everything you could need. The kids found toys to play with and we brought bucket golf to practice in the back yard. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house. We love this place. I already booked it for next year!

Great home, hosts and location. We had a family reunion, 6 of us, and there was more than enough room for everyone to be together or to find a corner to be alone. We had a wonderful weekend… and it was well supported by the beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located home. My grandkids were very pleased with the toy selection! 6 ladies/ long time friends gathering for retirement and birthday. Amazing location as we love to walk everywhere!! The house is beautiful and has so many great features!!Host Leslie is 10 and we enjoyed meeting her and chatting. Beach is so close as well as the downtown. We will definitely return!! Loved the well-equipped, comfortable home in a perfect Half Moon Bay location. Owner was very responsive, committed to our group having a wonderful weekend. The short walk to the beach with great sunsets and the front yard fire pit were highlights. Highly recommend!

The owners thought of everything! Anything you could possibly need for making meals is in the kitchen, with spices available too. The house is in an ideal location, a 5 minute walk from the beach, and a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to Main Street and shopping. Tons of gorgeous hiking trails close by. Plenty of room for our family of seven (2 married couples and 3 teenagers) to spend time together, or separate for a bit. Bedrooms were more than comfortable, house was immaculately clean, owners were great with communication, we couldn't ask for anything more. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a fantastic time at this property. It's sort of like the Tardis from Dr. Who. In the pictures showing the exterior it looks like a modest space, but in actuality it is much bigger than I thought it would be on the inside. Very well "appointed". By that I mean that the hosts made sure there were plenty of things like towels, paper towels, cookware/kitchen wear etc... since we usually do a lot of our cooking on these trips. On other trips we do usually say a "I wish they had ...." but not with this property. There was nothing we wish they had provided, cuz it was all there.I had some contact with our hosts. They were very nice and accommodating. We definitely plan on coming back.

Spring break getaway was perfect!

Our stay at Half Moon Bay was wonderful - we had our family of 6 adults and 2 children for 4 nights and loved the home. It has 2 kid sized beds and lots of kids books and toys. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen is amazing with every tool you would need, and the heated toilet seats were a nice surprise! We are an active family, so having the walking trail and beach within a 2 minute walk from the house was perfect. Great time in one of the nicest VRBO's we've ever rented. Thanks!

Fabulous Family Get Together in Half moon Bay!

What a beautiful home with fantastic access to the beach in Half Moon Bay. Lots of room for our east and west coast family members including our family newest member who is 17 months old. Everything we needed for the baby was available and the kitchen was very well stocked with essentials and great cook ware for meals at home. Home was super clean. Rich and Leslie were great to work with from booking to check out. We use VRBO often when traveling and can’t say enough good things about our overall experience at this property.
