Over 8000 sf exquisite lakefront estate home nestled at the base of Smith Mountain.  We have owned and managed another highly rated luxury 5 star-property at Smith Mountain Lake for the last 5 years (The Castle ID# 9458393) and are excited to add a slightly larger property to our portfolio! Our home has a very spacious and comfortable feel and sleeps up to 22 people!  We are designers and home builders, and we have crafted a home for vacationers who appreciate quality, and who desire space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable during your stay. Every bedroom has their own bathroom, and most have double sinks!
Get your groceries delivered, have a local chef prepare meals for you, or have a local striper fish guide take you out on the lake. We are also well connected with local services and individuals to help make your stay a memorable one.

**Note high season from Mid June - Late August 2026 bookings are a week minimum Sunday to Sunday check in/Check out. **** Note 2027 will be Saturday to Saturday bookings for high season.

With 8 bedrooms everyone has space to spread out. We have six king bed master suites; one bedroom with two queen beds; and a bedroom that has four twin bunk beds with two trundle beds. Seven of our eight bedrooms have large walk-in closets with space to hang and store your clothes during your vacation. Every bedroom has its' own bathroom. Five of the eight bathrooms have double sinks.   For those with electric vehicles, a 220 volt EV charger is in the garage, along with bikes to explore the neighborhood.
 
Multi- Generational/ Mobility Mindset

The 3-floor elevator and the gentle slope to the lake is perfect for those with special mobility needs.  We even a portable wheelchair ramps if needed so you can easily navigate the two steps at the front porch or the single step out the rear to the dock.   The path to the lake is a gentle grade and has no steps to get to the dock.
 
The Kitchen/Dining/Family Room

The centerpiece of the first floor is our main floor, with an open kitchen, dining, and family room area.
 
Our gourmet chef’s kitchen (20’x20’) features a six-burner GE Monogram gas range/oven with a powerful Thermador range hood.  Add in a separate GE Cafe dual convection oven/microwave and you can cook for an entire army.    There is also a GE Cafe beverage/wine center, and a dedicated Hoshizaki ice machine.  With two sinks and three dishwashers(One Ge Cafe dual dw and one Bosch dw), you will never have a problem cleaning up.  We have a kitchenaid mixer, Vitamix blender, crock pot, tons of high end pots and pans, and we even have an ice cream maker! There is also a coffee area with a Keurig coffee maker, as well as a traditional 12-pot coffee maker. We have outfitted the kitchen with every appliance and utensil you'll need to assist in preparing your delicious meals. We also have 2 high chairs for families with young children.
 
Our Trestle style, old world farmhouse dining table seats 16 people, and the panelized 11-foot island with Carrera Quartz countertop comfortably seats 8..  Look out the dining room window with a direct view of Smith Mountain right in your backyard.  

The adjacent family room(20’x17’)has a beautiful, coffered ceiling centered on a custom mantle with a Carrera tile surround.  The 3 huge leather Restoration Hardware sofas in the family room warmly welcome you to watch the 75-inch TV (located directly above the fireplace mantle). Its a warm setting to relax with your group or play board games or puzzles.
 
 
 Main floor deck/porch
 
 
The massive deck and porches are accessible from the dining room, the main floor bedroom, and the family room. They allow you to enjoy the cool evenings overlooking the lake or share a meal outside. We have in-ceiling speakers in the common areas so you can relax with your favorite music playing overhead, while the hanging party lights accentuate the mood. Cook out with our high end Weber grill. With direct gas piping you will always have gas to grill your steaks, burgers, or fish. You'll never need to run to the store to change out a gas canister.
 
Main floor bedroom

The main floor bedroom overlooks the lake and has beautiful King four poster bed, dresser with mirror and side tables.  The main floor bedroom also has a large walk-in closet.  There are double doors which allow you to access your own porch overlooking the lake.  The main floor bathroom has a roll-in shower and a marble lavatory with dual sinks.  
 
The main floor also offers an elegant private powder room with a basketweave Carrera tile floor and a furniture style vanity.  
 

Second floor

The second floor has 5 bedrooms and is accessible by elevator, as is every floor of our home.  
 
The right rear bedroom overlooks the lake and has a Tommy Bahama king bed, side tables, a dresser and a leather chair.  The tiled bathroom has a walk-in closet, tiled shower and his and her sinks.
 
The central bedroom overlooks the lake and has a four poster king bed with 2 side tables, a leather chair and a beautiful tiled bathroom with a shower and double sinks.
 
The left rear bedroom overlooks the lake and has a farmhouse style king bed, two side tables, separate dresser, leather chair and a walk-in closet.  The bathroom has a single lavatory and a tub/shower.  
 
The left side bedroom has a beautiful view of Smith Mountain with two queen sleigh beds (sleeps four) and a walk in closet.  The bathroom has a tiled bathroom with a tiled shower and a single lavatory.
 
The front left bedroom has two bunk beds, each with a trundle pull-out for a sleeping capacity of six.  The wood bunk beds are incredibly sturdy. They have a metal structure that rates each bed for 400 lbs!  There is a walk-in closet and a large sofa with a TV and a Playstation 4 for the kids gaming enjoyment. We also have a puppet stage complete with curtains and 16 puppets for kids to put on shows to entertain the audience
 
 
 
The Lower Level (Basement)

The left rear bedroom overlooks the lake and has a four poster king bed, closet and two side tables.  Adjoining the bedroom is a full bath with a double lavatory and roll-in shower.
 
The rear right bedroom overlooks the lake and has a contemporary, grey, king bed, dresser and two side tables.  The bathroom has a roll-in shower and a double lavatory.  
 
The basement/game room is the perfect place for everyone to hang out.  It has a pool table, shuffleboard table, foosball, poker table, ping pong table, and a full bar.  We even have a wine room! Tons of puzzles and games are also in our cabinet for hours of fun and enjoyment.  There are 4 TV's in the basement so you can watch many games at the same time.  A sports lovers dream! 

Basement Stone Patio/fire pit

Step outside to a huge basement stone patio or to the outdoor Belgard patio with a large smokeless fire pit.  Roast marshmallows or simply gather around the fire to recollect the day.  From there you can easily stroll to the huge dock with space for all.  We even have a TV for you to watch on the water!  

The Dock

One of our favorite places to spend time is the dock. The massive dock measures over 1500 sf and has overhead Bluetooth speakers and a TV for watching your favorite show or the big game. Our peaceful cove is perfect for kids to swim in without heavy boat traffic. Fish off the dock or use our 3 kayaks or stand up paddle board to explore. The peaceful cove is a wonderful place to end the day or hang out in the evenings.

 THE AREA

Smith Mountain Lake is a popular destination because of its natural beauty and endless activities: swimming, fishing, boating, tubing, waterskiing, wake-boarding, eating out at restaurants off the water and on the water, visiting wineries, listening to bands/music, hiking, mountain biking, putt putt, rock climbing, going to the movie theater - you name it and we've got it!

We provide an owners guide book which provides complete information about where to go and what to do around Smith Mountain Lake.   There are 2 national chain grocery stores close to our home- one is 15 minutes away the other is 20 minutes away. Wal Mart is 20 minutes away. There is a small market/gas station 5 minutes away. The lake has many restaurants and marinas on the water that you can boat to. We have always enjoyed boating to eat out on the water. You also can drive to many restaurants by car within 10/15/20 minutes as well. Like wine? There are many local wineries within easy driving distance to visit and enjoy. There are also lots of hiking and biking trails too.

We have been vacationing at Smith Mountain Lake for over 20 years and have designed this home with the luxury vacationer in mind.  We have thought of everything to make your vacation at the lake a relaxing one.
